This may sound rather silly but I am wondering if the returns from investing in US Stocks compared to MY Stocks will be higher. I only managed to get a 40 - 50% return on my investment for 2009 in MY stock market, which is rather low in my opinion. Would diversifying my investment to US Stocks be more attractive?

Kindly advice.

No worries. It'll rise up sooner or later.
I'd rather it be sooner cos I've got AIG and C too! smile.gif

good thing about US shares.....it goes up faster....thus you dont need to wait until your hair turn grey after suffering a 50% loss to gain it back

bad thing about us shares....the market is so volatile....u can gain usd1k in a day, and lose usd2k the next day for example. NOt too good for the weak heart unless u dont monitor it 24/7. U can lose/win 10% within seconds....its wont wait for you to place your buy or sell. (as in if u wanan buy or sell immediately...u need to forecast your sell/buying price way ahead n wait)

if wanna talk about company going bust....everywer also same....its unpredictable..
