QUOTE(carlosandy @ Dec 10 2010, 02:36 PM) To all Dec 2010 student, belows are my advice in this 2 week exam: Yup totally rightTry not to discuss too much answer after yours finish exam, bcos it won't help anybody to gain more marks. Whatever past is past, even if you make a mistake during exam, but now also can't change anymore. Pass or fail now totally depend on examiner and your luck. Concentrate in your next paper is more important, don't waste time to know whether you are right or wrong. All the best and good luck to student for seating today and next week 3 more days exam. QUOTE(nelston123 @ Dec 10 2010, 07:48 PM) anyone took p5 today?? I screw my P5 today!!! the new examiner is crazy!! totally different from da previous 1 and the whole paper calculation did not exceed 20%!!! stucked in Q1 and Q4 I sat for p5 also today.. Erm... its best sitting ever... as they dump in p3 knowledge which we know general but test kau kau for 34 m and also q4 i think they total wrongly.. as 10 + 9 + 3 = 20 m . Haha. And i took the PI question. Haha..Today totally PI for all P5 student. All the best and to those finish enjoy holiday. All the best for remaining paper. Tips again... in optional... better study all paper haha then do ur optional.. meaning p5 - study f2, 5,9 , and p3 like hardcore then p5. Experience it first time today and .... kudos to examiner.. ^^ . |

QUOTE(conqu3ror @ Feb 22 2011, 10:45 AM) Congrats to you pass 3 papers. Thanks... but one more paper.. and can be an acca affiliate. Me also wonder how to pass P5 which is my 2nd attempt to this last paper. Where u study P5 & any tips for it? Or maybe can share you notes to me... P5. Actually i went to Ms Chang + Mr Andrew class and found it quite good but before exam expect a lot of theory already as can see from sample question. My strategy is as im taking 4 paper last sitting, i go for p5 understand concept like what i did for p3 which works, then apply according to case study. Actually i didn't study much for p5 also. But never in world will expect KPI coming out more than 30 marker. All the best ya. Expect theory more for p5 and application is more important as examiner say in sample paper, he want people to understand the financial statement, not to calculate and to present to people and let management decide on your interpretation. All the best to all here. Just wondering anyone have tips how to study p6 ? As i found it easy last sitting but don't know why still fail as its the most confident paper i sat last sitting. Thanks |

QUOTE(carlosandy @ Feb 22 2011, 08:01 PM) Yes, for P6 examiner will expert student is a tax adviser. More application question like advise, tax planning, tax implication will be come out on this paper. Examiner already mentioned calculation is not important, but some student make a mistake and go to concentrate on the calculation... Thanks will keep that in mind. So focus more on theory. |
