P1 is Mr. Goh

owwh... thank you very much~~~ cuz i keep asking the ACCA officer ... they say they duno =X

Now very confusing where to study... my parents insist me to study at 1 college (they prefer Sunway) , but not Jumping from one to another according to lecturers... but after i read so many post... i think most of U think that follow recommended lecturer better rite?

How to save cost if i wan to register here and there a??? ( as i dun really want to study at those KL college... cuz vy inconvinient for me.) Every school we registered need to pay for those Registration fees, Application Fees, Resources fees, etc... which cost quite alot... if each subject signed up from each school.

I am taking P1, P2, P3 this coming semester.
P2 Mr Haneef or Ms Menon better?
P3 Mr Micheal teaching at? anyone know any full time course from him from which Uni?
how bout P1?

Thank you in advance from the recommendations.

tq for the reply

so, if according to this table:

http://www.accaglobal.com/join/acca/fees

i should pay

Exam/exemption fees
Knowledge £55 for each F1-F3
Skills  £69 for each F4-F9
Professional  £81

is that the right calculation?

issit worth to go for Joe Fang classes specially for conso method?
is he good in others calculation other than consol?( as i heard that, nowadays P2 mayb not always test on conso... but oso can test on other calculations )

So, still worth going JoeFang classes? as i will be attending haneef classes mainly... =S ( a bit kiasu here )

P2 is difference from F7, please do not depend too much on calculation.

For Joe Fang and Haneef, I think you need to think what you expect from them for attend their class.

Joe Fang is good in Consol, but just so so on FRS. If you attend his class, then you need to take more time reading on your own for FRS.

Haneef is good in FRS, but for consol part, he normally use classic T a/c method. T a/c method is easy ifor understanding, but slow method during exam.

So, there is no perfect for Haneef or Joe Fang or even for any other lecturer.
*
hmm... ya ...then since i am going to attend haneef dy.... not advised to go joefang class as additional la?

about 35% for calculations only, and thats the part (a) of question 1.
sometimes, it depends on the examiner, there will be calculation parts appeared in the other questions too (if you are lucky)
but don't hope to pass this paper on the calculation parts. they don't carry high marks for that, but discussion will be the favorite of Graham Holt.

why dont you consider Menon's P2 class in sunway?
*
oo..icic......cuz cant register to study for 1 subject in sunway for full time student... must at least take 2 subject...

and i cant attend menon part time classes, which is on sat & sun... i got other classes alred...

thanks for answering..... =p

For Joe Fang class, if you really feel want to study faster consol method, then baru consider la. Since Haneef class also 2 days per week, I think may be difficult for you to attend Joe Fang class for same sitting. I'm not advise you also attend Joe Fang revision class without attend his normal class.

oorh... icic...ok ^^ thank you vy much =D

Added on June 16, 2010, 10:23 amBtw, How bout P3... if I only can choose between Philip woo ( Taylors) & Marcus Ong ( Kasturi )class ... who is better? can describe their teaching method?

I think I can help you out here... what the HR person probably means is that if you have an OBU or a degree the pay is 2450 as stated by Topace11, however say if you have just finished your fundamental papers and are attempting your P level papers and want to work while studying (without an OBU) the pay is rm2000. That is why they said OBU pays higher. however if you enter the job market after becoming an affiliate then it's rm2600 regardless if you have OBU or not
*
job market means any company la? include those medium firm? or rm2600 price is only big 4?

Uh no this applies generally to the Big4... I think BDO pays higher than this... since it's known to be the one which "pays the most"

ic~ haha ... thank you for answering =D
