You could also take it a bit slow ^^
Get a degree first and then go for ACCA,CIMA,ICAEW etc with exemptions from your degree

If you want to take a managerial position in the future it is better that you go for CIMA in my opinion ^^

There's a few good reasons why there's a very huge amount of people wanting to work with Big 4 even though they know hell is awaiting them XD
Suffer first and you can get the benefits later ^^

not taking MQA subjects won't affect your ACCA exams in any way I'd think.Just that it may affect your status as a full time Sunway UC student.

you don't need to be an MIA member to work in Malaysia but to become a chartered accountant in Malaysia you will have to register with MIA after you become a full member of ACCA ^^ I't just some more paperwork no need to worry much.

I don't think it's on par, it's more like accepted as an equivalent qualification for entry into Business/Accounting Degree programmes ^^
CAT has been accepted as an equivalent to Foundation/Pre-U programmes for entry into Degrees for some time now by a good number of University/Colleges.Some Colleges would even give a few exemptions for CAT students when they enter Degree.

Anyway Sunway is more well known for ACCA and Taylor's only offer the last 5 professional papers anyway.

unless you want to look and go to different places for each paper according to the Lecturers teaching the paper, generally Sunway is the best ACCA tuition provider in Malaysia,they are currently the only Platinum tuition provider and TARC is good they got platinum once before if I'm not mistaken but now is only gold correct me if I'm wrong. For Sunway you would have to take CAT first and then ACCA. In TARC if I'm not mistaken you do their Diploma in Accounting first then with ACCA exemptions take their Advance Diploma in Accounting while taking ACCA.

If you study in TARC you will get an Advance Diploma from TARC as well if I'm not mistaken. For Sunway it's the same as you study ACCA anywhere else.You will be getting your qualification from ACCA as it's not like a Degree programme offered by Unis/Colleges. Sunway,Kasturi etc. only provide you tuition to prepare you to sit for the ACCA papers. I do hear that if you submit a research paper you can get a Degree from OBU though if I'm not mistaken this degree is not recognized by JPA.

best is very subjective in my opinion but to me
in this case it's Sunway and second would be TARC
