Got cheap things in Japan ar? Cost of living in japan so expensive, everything also sooo.... expensive lar. Rather buy things which are unique and found in japan which may not necessarily be cheap. Anyway, japan is interesting and fun despite the cost. smile.gif

Hi there everyone, i'm also taking apple's package but i'm choosing autumn~fall timing (early October, 1st wk) as i read that the leaves then is already turning red by that time in HOkkaido. Anyone has any idea whether to go whether end Sept/1st wk/2nd wk of October?

Actually, my plan is like this. take hokkaido trip from Apple and get JAL airline (anyone knows the diff in service for JAL and MAS? ) and get transfer to Hokkaido from Narita/Kansai.  Then i'm gonna extend my trip at Tokyo area before coming back Malaysia. (total 7 days in Hokkaido and 7 days in Tokyo area).

Since my budget ain't very high around RM6k to spend around Tokyo area, you guys have any best itinerary for sight seeing + must eat food + slight shopping for IT goods + er.. "FUN" timing (u guys know what i mean?? er.. night spot / hang out areas for cun gals?  drool.gif )

Hope to get your advice on itinerary. EG : should i just tour around Tokyo area(Kansai) or should i extend till Osaka??or should i just save the far trips to another time?

Thanks for your help in advance. =)  wub.gif

The last time i went to hokkaido in the 1st week of oct... it was a bit too early to see the full autumn colors... only some leaves were starting to turn color.. so i guess if u really want to see more reds & yellowss in autumn, better go for 2nd / 3rd week.. it was the season to pluck apples...provided no typhoon hit hokkaido before that. The weather was just a nice cooling 8-16 degree celcius.
