the only reason why I have the Suica pass is because I lived there for some years. No it's not worth paying for - 2000yen = 1500yen for the card, 500yen credit on the card.

if they are definitely into anime stuff, at least they will go to akiba 3 times
1st time - windows shopping, gawking at stuffs
2nd time - plan what to buy, go back do calculation
3rd time - shopping

seng kiat, i'd only take bus if they are cheaper than trains. example, my trip to kusatsu by bus is cheaper than train where time difference is only 40minutes. so, took the train..was a good ride, totally different than how msian driver drive.
