what she told me is totally different from the news, they, the Japanese also know that their government did not tell them the truth, just said the level of radiation also still in the limit that will not harm the human health, but the real thing isn't what their government said, their government just want to keep the country in control.

+1 its same thing and same statement from my neighbours in Tokyo and she advised my family not to comin back for a time being...its no because of earthquake or tsunami...but its all bout RADIATION...Pray For Japan! nod.gif

Em, I must go there and will go there and I will make it.

This is not just I like Japan country like anyone. I had made a promise with someone, and I must go. It doesn't matter how hard is it; it is not the matter of money nor I perceive they are more superior.

So can anyone please guide me, instead of poring water or giving unrelevant info?
Forget it...

Guess, you people can't help me. It is time wasting to ask here.

Futhermore, please don't advise people to give up if you can't do it or assume everyone is like you.

There are differences between a BMW and a Proton.

Sorry, if I am too rude, but it is true that you are obviously not a BMW.
*
I'm so sorry for you and have to agree 1 of the statement by heterosapiens And please dont misunderstand...You should look for a mirror (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mirror) and see who is in the mirror and whats look a like?
yeah u r not Proton nor BMW....may be OEM from China made...lol!

am i rude?

Cool, no problemo. Now that you have calm down, I'm going to try to explain what tanoshi means from his reply.

For your info, tanoshi have stayed in Tokyo for quite awhile, so he did not meant that you will never get to Japan, instead the reply was about "your wishes same like mine when i was...BUT I bet you cant make it" was in regards to your post saying "I wish to gather Malaysians who stay at Japan". He tried that being very friendly with other Malaysians in Japan, but if wasn't much of a success due to the culture of Japanese society, where by they are overtly self-centered. I know a lot of my Malaysian friends who have stayed there for more than 1 year, most of them have adapted to the Japanese culture. So, it is a huge ambition to gather Malaysians in Japan, where even our embassy failed to do that wink.gif

Btw, the term Japs is/was considered as an insult to the Japanese back then. I would politely use Japanese.

Please use Google for any definition of words that you are unsure, if that fails, then only you should ask here. Search for "gaijin" and "couch surfing" if you please.

I wonder why would anyone who are staying in Shinjuku Washington would be willing to sleep on the street. My recommendation is to downgrade your accomodation to a cheaper place, and use the extra cash to get a proper place to stay for the rest of your trip. I would recommend you to try out Ryokan, Capsul Hotel, and other type of accomodation as well.

You plan to sleep on the streets for 3 days when you're here for a holiday?? Like many others have posted here, you can get some decently priced accommodation in Tokyo without burning a hole in your wallet. Search this thread and the past 2 versions as many forumers have posted feedback on cheap accommodation and reviews of youth hostels, ryokans and cheap business hotels.
*
Pls no offence to other new comer in this thread. An example as Psychzzz mentioned. We or previous contributor is repeating the same answer...later on will ask same thing again...please 'rajin' to read this useful guide (at least you can view or read or ask or do comparison LIVE in LYN)

Ohio minna...

Me and my friend already planned since last year to go to Japan for 5 days, 1 month from now (mid may). Hotel already booked and will stay at ueno. But we still not sure want to proceed or to cancel our trip. Since there are still aftershock and heard that the radiation got worsen. The train still not working very smooth and also water/food problem.

Would like to ask you guys opinion if its better to cancel or proceed....especially to whom that is currently in japan?
We plan to go Tokyo area, mt. fuji and probably tokyo disneysea.

konichiwa..just my personal opinion..I'm not goin, at least 1-2 years later may be. Anything might happen. tongue.gif

Professionalism...? = Japanese sometimes
talk loud? = Japanese dislike
show off = Japanese patriotism
respect = Japanese practise
down to earth we must always practice..

Malays said 'Mengalah tak semestinya kalah, tak mengalah tak semestinya menang'

back to basic....I always check the mirror.
No offence yah...pls keep this thread clean...theres need not to point whose fault whose right...
