Hi mastering89 thanks for the lovely pictures! I been there too the Mount Komagatake. It's a brilliant view and the Lake Ashi is nice too.

But can cut down to just 36 min is sugoi desu ne! Use money to buy time.
The normal express train (Keisei?) needs 77min but ticket is just 1000yen. |

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Aug 24 2010, 09:46 PM) Going Tokyo but miss the Roppongi Hills.....this is failure. Roppongi Hills Fashion shopping already replace shibuya status already....go tokyo shopping how can you miss Roppongi Hills Last time I didn't really spend time on Roppongi area, I should revisit it again. One place also cannot miss....Morning 7-9am please go Shibuya Station...Wahahaha ...Feel the real Japan Densha Culture And ya, I experienced it. It was horrible. Tremendously jam packed with people and they walk so fast that you have no choice but walk fast also. |

Speaking of train, I found it many Japanese don't really make use of the handle? I mean when train accelerates or stops, if not holding the handle will fall to someone else right (if pack with people).
Or they are really having awesome balance skill. And ya, I still remember the first time entering Japanese train at airport, I underestimate the train and nearly fell down. Embarrassing. This post has been edited by jayhan: Sep 6 2010, 02:44 PM |

QUOTE(PsyCHZZZ @ Mar 1 2011, 09:56 AM) Yeah ... it'll be crowded but that's the whole point right? To experience the crowd, the festivity and see the people. Actually, I was thinking to go Japan in around summer season. Well still just thinking. Not everything have to be expensive in order to enjoy the occasion. If you're on a boat, you won't be able to see the hordes of boys & girls in their summer yukata, or experience the hundreds of synchronized "sugoi" when the first fireworks shoots off, or how they manage the crowd of more than 50,000 people in one area. The crowd in Japan is quite different as well in the sense that they'll all follow instructions and go with the flow so it's very orderly and manageable. Anyone else interested? |
