just got my 250gb hdd today and it's working well with my jasper arcade.my question is..is it possible to transfer the save data from 512mb memory to the new hdd.will it corrupt the save game?and do i need to put the game disc eventhough i already install and play my game from the hdd?

It is indeed possible to transfer the save data for "supported" games only.

You still need the game disc after you install the game into the HDD to avoid user from obtaining free/illegal copy. The only way to play games without disc is to buy the game from Xbox LIVE Game on Demand or Arcade games.

owh..ok,i got it..and the console runs more quietly when i installed the game into my hdd.before this the disc is spinning and the sound from the spinning disc really annoy me and afraid that the lens will "kaput" faster.
