Are you playing on a normal television? Not a widescreen HD LCD? Yeah....... you're gonna have a problem with most games. Games for the Xbox360 was developed for HDTVs, which means they don't take in consideration for non-widescreen stretching of text. Solution? buy a HDTV

i agree to get a lcd monitor ur most likely to spend 250 + 80 cable on 2nd hand 16"lcd monitor and 2nd hand vga cable (best u get an ori). i do notice ppl complain the about the fake vga cable to be blurry.
hmm.. i do notice the words in certain games are small, and yes it strain my eye reading them. 1 way is to decrease the resolution of the game (certain games only) u can do that in 1 of the dashboard settings

QUOTE(iv'N @ Mar 3 2010, 09:49 PM) 24" monitors these day quite cheap. so its one of the best alternative. however does not match playing on hdtvs yep...HDTVs still rules supereme. Resolution isn't everything. a FullHD LCD with TN panel is still inferior to an LCD TV with an IPS Panel....that's why gaming on my LCD TV looks so good even if the resolution is lower than my LCD monitor!

^the technology is different, it make sense. for low budget user, 22-24" tn panel is sufficient.
