ABOUT THE GAME
The whole world lies in ruins. Humanity is almost annihilated. Due to the high-level of radiation cities became unsuitable for living. Humans have yielded the supremacy on Earth to a new species. Creatures mutated by radiation are more adapted to the changed world. There are only clusters of humans left on the planet ... At least, that's what the ten thousand survivors camped out in the various sections of the Moscow metro must believe, since they have no evidence that they are not the last ones alive. And now, even this way of life is being threatened by the evolved evil from outside. As Artem, you set out from the first invaded colony, fighting through a society of divided by desperate politics, ideologies and economies to warn the rest and reach the Polis stronghold before everything is destroyed.

GAME DETAILS
Set in the shattered subway of a post apocalyptic Moscow, Metro 2033 is a story of intensive underground survival where the fate of mankind rests in your hands.

In 2013 the world was devastated by an apocalyptic event, annihilating almost all mankind and turning the earth’s surface into a poisonous wasteland. A handful of survivors took refuge in the depths of the Moscow underground, and human civilization entered a new Dark Age.

The year is 2033. An entire generation has been born and raised underground, and their besieged Metro Station-Cities struggle for survival, with each other, and the mutant horrors that await outside.

You are Artyom, born in the last days before the fire, but raised Underground. Having never ventured beyond your Metro Station-City limits, one fateful event sparks a desperate mission to the heart of the Metro system, to warn the remnants of mankind of a terrible impending threat. Your journey takes you from the forgotten catacombs beneath the subway to the desolate wastelands above, where your actions will determine the fate of mankind.

this game seem like xbox360 exclusive....

after watch the clip..compare with fallout 3..

the monster look greater..hehe...

the game play seem like typical 1st person shooter..i wonder is it got something other than jz "shoot"....like fallout 3..can "freeze" and " choose the part to shoot"...at least it make it a bit difference frm typical 1st person shooting game..^^*

last one..fallout 3 is kind of free way western rpg..i wonder how was metro 2033 as "free way" already become more n more important in western game..hooray..i like free way instead of 1 way (japanese game)!

if it end up jz like typical 1st person shooter..i wil be a bit dissapointed =P

Hyped up for this , watched some interview videos , they're trying to create a much more "living" atmosphere . Hopefully it's not like some segmented dull worlds aka Bethesda games .

Oh , and this should be similar to STALKER of all games .

No ... please . None of this Fallout 3 Vats thingy please . doh.gif

Focus on the gun play and SFX of all things . Then make it like a true shooter with superb AI and real time damages on local body parts .

Game pace is very slow and too many loading screen, although brief but still... The atmosphere is quite good but too dark. There isn't an option for brightness in game. So far I can say not bad, hope the action picks up soon. thumbup.gif

After 4 hours and the pace is still very slow similar to FEAR. Guns feel inaccurate but I found out that turning off aim assist helps.

So far, I don't know what genre this game belongs to. Definitely not horror since it's not scary at all. Not a bad game but not an outstanding game also. laugh.gif

You only get to keep one gun for each class and the classes are pistol, assault rifle and shotgun/rifle.

Nope, there isn't many guns to choose but there are a few versions of the same gun etc. scope, silenced.
