QUOTE(zsnipes @ Mar 10 2010, 04:52 PM) Thanks. Does your old phone support Ovi Suite?Currently i am using my old phone using Nokia PC Suite too to synchronize all these message, contact, calender, between my phone and pc. I haven't bought this E72 yet, if next time i switch to this E72 & using Ovi Suite, can I transfer all my message, contact, calender, etc. to this new E72 phone ? Other than Newer Software of Ovi Suite, actually what's the MAIN Difference between these Nokia PC Suite & Ovi Suite when using it with Nokia E72 ? Thanks. |

QUOTE(zsnipes @ Mar 10 2010, 05:23 PM) No. I'm using now Nokia 9300. I just bought E72, transfer from N73 to E72. Using Ovi.I was worry if I change my phone to Nokia E72 later, cannot transfer to new phone. I've never use Ovi Suite before. Someone here use Nokia PC Suite & Ovi Suite before ? may know about it.... Don't know why my pc suite could not complete the backup anymore. Else, you can use the sync features in E72 to backup using bluetooth. Ovi did not backup all my message in the folder, did not copy the folder AT ALL. So, all I do is I sync using that features. Don't worry. Backup and restore is easy as ABC Added on March 10, 2010, 5:38 pmOh ya, I do installed both pc suite and ovi suite This post has been edited by Joshua_0718: Mar 10 2010, 05:38 PM |

AM I rite, if I only want to Transfer my Contact/Calender/SMS, I can install Nokia PC Suite ONLY (eventhough Nokia website say E72 need use Ovi Suite) & use the component called PC Sync features to Backup my Old Phone & Restore it to the new E72. Like That can ah ? Thanks. Okay, if Sync fails I using this |

Don't think TS adding new user. The number of users is growing but the list is not growing.

Heavy usage on sms and call. Everday 1 hour of music, and 1 hour of internet connection. 3rd day evening would need to recharge.

QUOTE(lhooipg @ Mar 16 2010, 01:12 PM) The Ovi map is not up-to-date one, so you won't able to find your exact location...you only manage to find the area. The software is updated. Not sure about the map. My colleague and myself having the same version, but map not sureFor example if you leave in an apartment said Block E and your house number is 1-1, your area is taman desa or lorong desa......you only able to find taman desa or lorong desa. You won't be able to find your apartment location like Block E1-1, taman desa / lorong desa.... That's what happen to me..... |

QUOTE(pigletbb @ Mar 16 2010, 05:22 PM) Hi dude, i got the same problem with you last time. But my was solved after i correct the settings and restart the phone. You don't need the data plan for it. Just correct the settings as lhooipig advised, then restart your phone. Go to outdoor and open the GPS data [Applications > GPS > GPS data > Option > Satellite Status] and spend few minutes to let it detect the signal. When signal detected, those grey bars will become in blue. I tried and works for me Ok. Will go and tryQUOTE(kianlun @ Mar 16 2010, 05:40 PM) Yeah i agree..and 1 more thing..i found out that Nokia Care at Pyramid is quite good..went there last week to report about my problem..then they straight away said they will get the parts for me asap. 1 week time they called back and get it done for me..Went to Nokia Care at One Utama the other day, report about my problem..they said they have to send my phone back to nokia HQ for them to authorize whether can claim or not..need 2 - 3 days time to authorize..then only they decide can fix for me or not.. Write to Nokia HQ to query on that lor. |
