I have successfully update to new ver after few attempt fail...here what happen and what i done

1. Try to backup the phone using Ovi Suite....Fail
2. Take a risk to update without backup using Ovi....Fail also.
3. Off On the phone & PC and try again ....Fail also
4. Download new NSU and try to update...by 1st attempt only it work so smooth....finish update in few minute only...no hang at all.

I think Ovi suite have some problem with USB connection....it lost connection during backup and update. If anyone facing this, try do download a fresh NSU then update....
*
Thanks for the infor but my case is I failed the update using NSU.....only when I install Ovi Suite then it successful update...I believed it's all depend on the connection.....

this thread gets longer with repetitive question... read around lor.. hahaha

I think the best is to make a FAQ or Q&A then put it at the first page of this thread....then before ask any question, read through it...... thumbup.gif

tried that.
didn't work too.
now only bluetooth can be used to connect to the laptop
*
Have you try using other usb port? If still cannot try using other PC or laptop with the latest PC Suite or Ovi Suite? If try already still the same, it could be the usb cable issue

what is the problem actually?
i managed to backup using pc suite already  tongue.gif
then NSU didn't work.
so i updated using OVI suite, halfway connection error.
this time wasn't because of usb, but network connection
*
I think it was due to the internet disruption connection problem facing by TMNuzt (http://www.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2010/4/24/nation/6125736&sec=nation).....

If not critical wait after the internet disruption issue solve and try again or if you have other ISP connection which has stable connection, then you can try it.

anyone of u having this problem.. ?
sensitivity of optic navi key when set to high(normally able to move through 15-20 items eg. msges contacts) but after REBOOT, it no longer gives the sense of HIGH sensitivity... more like it's been set to medium. each time i check it still shows HIGH
so each time i reboot my device, i have to reset it - set it to medium and back to high again.
really annoying la...
*
I had this problem even set the sensitivity to high before update the latest firmware but once updated no issue anymore....you might want to try to update the firmware and see whether it works...at least it works for me.... thumbup.gif
