While in BLUETOOTH Connection with my PC,
it always prompt in my E72, ask me can accept connection from PC ? I keep press OK so many times.
I tried find the settings for "Authorise Device" for the bluetooth connection, but cannot find it. This phone got this features ? cause my old Nokia 9300 got this "Authorise Device", so we no need to keep pressing accept everytime we do backup or sync.

Anyone know how to go set this ?

Thanks.

Solved:
Okay, may be I'm still not very used to the new system interface, the setting still in the phone. I've overlook something before. This is it;

How to set Authorised Device for Bluetooth Connection on Nokia E72 ?
Press, Menu | Ctrl Panel | Connect. | Bluetooth,
Press/Scroll "Right" to switch to the page 2 of Bluetooth Properties,
Highlight & Select the Bluetooth Name of your Desktop/Notebook,
Select "Set as authorised"
Done. biggrin.gif

I've transfer my Old SMS (Messeges) to this new E72 using Switch,
all msg (Inbox & Sent Items) transfered, but all into DRAFTS folders.

I don't mind the Sent Items, but I need the Inbox to stay in the Inbox Folder.
How do I Move the Msg in DRAFTS folder back to Inbox ? I don't see any options to move.

Pls Help.

bro, how you make it last so long?
mine can only last for 3days maximum.
and then i'll have to charge it again.
do you call often?
or text and music?
*
I think its new it last this long.... & i was,
first 2 days, not much calls, only checking what's basic functions in it....
3rd day, experiment in syncronisation cause want to transfer my old phone to this new phone. (Bluetooth On)
4th day, Half Batt, starting to open apps inside, eg. play games, musics, photos, try out GPS, Use WIFI, etc...
5th day, Low Batt. Warning.... Charge it now.... tongue.gif

I think casual use later can last max. 4 days, then few months later, 3 days... then 2 days.... then 1 days.... then Change Batt..... icon_rolleyes.gif

Is there anyone here Usually Typing SMS using just One Hand only ? How long u've been using this phone ?

mine is dissapointing.
only last 3days.
and not really on calls too.
any suggestion on what i should do?
ask NCC for an exchange?
will they entertain?
icon_question.gif
*
i think these battery issue ncc won't entertain....
Try use battery to very low (1 bar), then charge it for 6 hours & don't use the phone until after 6 hours.
repeat this 2-3 times, may it gets better.....
usually when u charge it ? when half u charge or until the last bar one ?

I'm trying Nokia Messenging today, so nice now, can check all my webmail on the phone now smile.gif
One thing I wonder, when I "Start Send or Receive", it takes quite long to update from the server, is this normal ?

But A-GPS need to pay remember......

AGPS cost about 10 or 20 sen each time you connect. And it only takes a few seconds to locate the satellite.

Without AGPS, I can still locate the satellite but takes much longer. Ranges from 1/2 to 5 minutes.

A-GPS will charge a few cents each time a lock is needed.
You can always change the option to "prompted" so that you can decide.
*
I tried using the GPS with AGPS on, just trying to locate my position & scroll a bit nearby me, then I back check my balance. It's already charge me around RM1.00. btw, I'm using Pre-Paid Hotlink.

May I know if I use AGPS to lock on the position, then Off the AGPS because just want it to lock it fast only.
After that still can use the Maps for navigation or not ? or must ON the A-GPS all the way ?

For Maxis post paid, the charges are 1 sen per KB of data. Each AGPS request is worth <5KB or <5 sen. Not sure of other Telco or pre-paid.
*
The A-GPS request, is it use for initial lock-on GPS device time only rite. or it will keep requesting whenever we're in a navigation in a routes.
If I'm using this GPS functions, I don't mind charged me once only on Satelite Lock-on using A-GPS, after that I can freely use my Free Navigation in town biggrin.gif

Your best bet is to set the phone to seek your permission 'EVERY TIME" it wanted to get data from the Telco. That way, you can decide whether to allow it or not.

From my experience so far, once it has a lock on the satellite, it will not make any further request for satellite location data from Telco. But if you switched off the GPS and then move to a different location, it's a different story.

Again from my experience, if you keep your GPS on for too long, it will very quickly suck dry your battery. So it is a case of leaving the GPS on all the time or turning it off and when arriving at new location, use AGPS again and pay 5 sen more.

okay. Thanks. Clear & Precise.
I should follow ur policy.... biggrin.gif

Thanks again.... rclxms.gif

The Nokia Careline is actually outsourced to a 3rd party company called Scicom which located at Menara TA One, KL. My friend was worked there. He said they doesn't care about Nokia business as long as they can reply all emails and answering all calls. Normally when people complaining like yours, they will reply with the standard template and close the case. Your complain will never goes to Nokia.
*
Wow, this really surprise me. I am one of those who doesn't know about this. I've tried to make COMPLAINTS to Nokia through Email and Hard Copy Letters to Nokia, no wonder no one from customer service look further into it. NOKIA management won't hear a single words from their own customer anymore. NOKIA only hears from SCICOM. Nokia decided SCICOM to represents Nokia Customers now ?

So, now whenever we need to Make COMPLAINTS NOKIA Phone or etc. then we should make COMPLAINTS to SCICOM, located in Menara TA One, Malaysia ?

This is NOKIA HEADQUARTER MANAGEMENT choice of customer service to represent NOKIA Corporation, they choosed.

We, Customers needs some appreciation from NOKIA from using & buying their Nokia Phone.

Should Nokia abandon their consumers ? & let SCICOM take over ?

Peace.
