Hi all, how do I overclock my CPU a little more? I currently overclocked my Core 2 Duo E4500 from stock speed 2.2GHz to 2.53Ghz(230*11)(FSB*Multiplier) I can't set the FSB to 266, if I set it to 266 and save into bios then restart, the PC won't boot, no beep sound and no screen on the monitor. Is my chipset's limitation? my mainboard is Refer Here. And How do I increase the voltage?
That's quite a very low end board, by the way. You should be able to get above 230MHz system bus (920MHz FSB) easily. smile.gif

Here are my spec:
Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 @ 2.20Ghz (Overclocked to 2.53Ghz [230*11]) (Stock HSF from Intel)
I don't think you can get far with this 65nm processor using the stock cooler. hmm.gif

Kingston Value RAM 1x2GB DDR2 667Mhz (Overclocked to 766Ghz due to adjusting the FSB)
This is the main problem. When overclocking processor first, always try to maintain the RAM frequency to defaults (factory specifications) or close to default as possible (lower frequency will also be fine). Check the Pentium D 945 3.4GHz overclock to 4GHz in one of my siggy's CPU-Z tag and notice the RAM frequency. brows.gif

Example BIOS memory frequency settings here: Pentium Dual Core E5200...

Adjust the "FSB/Memory Ratio" to lower the RAM frequency. If you can't lower the frequency or can only use higher RAM frequency then go into the "Advance DRAM Configuration" and adjust the "DRAM CAS# Latency" to a higher value (increase latency to compensate for frequency increase) and/or also increase the "Memory Voltage" slightly (when required). This is considered overclocking RAM as well.. nod.gif

Any tips for me to overclock my CPU more?
Here is a simple guide..

But how do I raise the Vcore voltage? My BIOS doesn't seems to offer me to adjust... It only offer me to adjust the RAM and PCI-E voltage.
And I go into PC health status in bios, there show my Vcore voltage is at 1.336v
Seems your motherboard BIOS does not allow Vcore adjustments. Another (radical) method would be to use BSEL and VID mod: Examples here: Overclock.net: Intel BSEL & VID mod Guide icon_idea.gif

Current CPU Frequency                    2.75GHz(250x11)
Have you got it to boot at this frequency? hmm.gif

Intel EIST                                  [Enabled]  << If I disable this, I won't be able to boot at FSB 250 but for FSB 230.
This one is possibly heat issue or not enough Vcore. Look for any "C1E" settings in on of the BIOS setup pages, and disable that. wink.gif

FSB/Memory Ratio                         [Auto]
Adjusted DRR Memory Frequency   833
Try changing the "FSB/Memory Ratio" from Auto to manual setting to reduce memory frequency. nod.gif

Memory voltage                 [2.10]    <This one is in Yellow Color (High Performance Setting)
Try lowering the RAM frequency first, then you don't need to increase the memory voltage that much. smile.gif

PCI Express voltage           [1.60]    <By default, this is in 1.55, but I adjusted to 1.60, is it ok?
Looks OK, but test and see at default 1.55V first. biggrin.gif

Spread Spectrum           [Enabled]
You may want to disable this if stability problem arises. tongue.gif

Are you meanings that my system is unstable? My DDR memory frequency cannot goes higher than default(667)?
As I've mentioned before, try to maintain the RAM frequency close to factory defaults (or lower frequency) first. icon_rolleyes.gif
