Hi all,

Not sure where to post this so I started this topic here.

My sis in law's handbag was snatched earlier today including her iPhone 3GS White 32GB. Location Bukit Jelutong Shah Alam.

Serial number : 88944RQA3NS

If you come across anyone trying to sell it do let me know. BTW, lets say if she gets a new iPhone will she able to restore back the last backup from iTunes since its diff serial number?.

Thanks a million.

I think you could inform apple or maxis to blacklist the phone, so it could be pick up if someone send it for repair. I'm not sure if apple could block it online. it's worth a try.

I think you did a wise move by alerting all buyers on the stolen goods.

Good work son..

seriously i wonder, will the thief going to sell the phone?

the new buyer going to suffer and not the thief. because not every buyer will check the internet for serial no. those buyer will buy from a shop like those in sg wang which sell second handphone and without noticing that the shop is selling stolen stuff.
