Gameboy Colour Screen Problems

Anyone know what kind of plastics that cover the gameboy colour screen???My outer plastic layer is spoil due to the sunshine long ago...without the outer plastic the screen is not visible to our eyes...Please help!!

A scratch proof/ resistant clear plastic would be ideal but I don't think a GBC outer screen cover is something you can replace easily.

buy a used gameboy if u can find it...much more cost effective compared to changing it.
