same condition like TS, only that i got dilemma in choosing my first bikes..
but no sing bikes for me..since all are above 600. planning to take normal license. after browsing so many bikes in Mudah.com, my choice comes to few..

Kawasaki ZXR250 97-99 model. price around 10-15k.. ( the only bike that looks like 250 while have a great sound)..unlike the 250R now.. sad.gif

Cagiva Mito 125 cc year 2008 - Rm14-15k.. i've seen the review..n out of 10 riders, 10 say the bikes is hard on maintenance.. spare parts n all are hard to find (really?) but performance wise is superb (for a 125cc..).

I mainly chose this two becoz of their looks n reputation. n ofcoz, the decent prize. If comparing on maintenance, the Cagiva Mito sure gives lots of headache, but on the bright side, it got this Ducati 916 Senna looks ( since same designer..) both can reach 180km/h..n both have wide tyre at the back (which is very cool for a small cc bikes)..

So guys, since i'm kinda new n never ride any bikes before, which do u think is the best? i hardly hit the highways n long distance.. all are city range.

i suggest fz150 or cbr 150, coz less maintenance than zxr250 n cagiva mito...if u still insist go for zxr250, but u must have rm3k as a backup if anything go wrong...if u own this bike, u must extra care n know a bit about ur bike...coz this bike really 'manja'...be a alert that when using this bike, the way of riding it a little bit different from cupchai...

hmm if that's the case, i think i can handle the maintenance. but not sure about the handling ur talking about, since i never ride any bikes before. Is it a good practice before i move on to superbike? the ZXR250 n Cagiva Mito.

CBR 150 , x minat with the looks laugh.gif

Nice. I did think a lot before deciding on these two. Previously was so tempting to get the Kawa ERn, but after some serious thought, i think that bike is kinda expensive to get.. Rm30k can get a satria gti now ( Well, i opt to get a bike coz i wanna save money..currently driving swift, but i doubt so with the Cagiva..haha.. bloody expensive..but the looks..aihh..tempting too!).

my source are fully from motorcycle.com and mudah. hahaha..

So what are u riding now?

btw, cool link bro. these guy have damn lots of videos! icon_rolleyes.gif

ER6F? nice.. actually i like bikes with fairings..esp the one that is full..jaz like Ducati design. That's y so tempting to get the mini-ducati. But i must consider lots of stuff. will take license this coming May, n hopefully by then already decide which bike to get.. even more tempting to get after watch kamen rider. hahahah~

with budget of 10k, u can get lots of bikes with decent power. If i have that money now, i will buy any Zxr model 1997-99. Some of the bikes are really taken care of.

http://www.mudah.my/Kawasaki-ninja-zxr-250-5026095.htm

this is one hell of a good example notworthy.gif

Blade 250r..hmm, not sure about this one. Heard the previous model before the year 2008 have so many probs. But recently most people vote this bikes(ofcoz, the 2008 n 2009 model) for its realibility). but then again, i am not sure. tempting too coz the new price is much cheaper than new kawa. I've read sumwher too that now Naza gave extend period of discount.. around Rm14k i think.. not bad for such a looker cool2.gif

The two strokes..hmm i might think of it its jaz like RX7 in terms of car. laugh.gif evy 2 full tank have to top up oil engine sweat.gif

So have u decide which bike to go for?

In this case, its up to ur own budget and view. Like me, i will try to search a bike in the 90's pricing at Rm10k. With some contacts and all, i think i can buy it at a much cheaper price. So not necessarily u limit your find at Seremban. U might wanna search at KL area since there's not much of a choice there. A new Kawa..for me its kinda too expensive. Rm18k above for 250R. even tho the year count is whole lot more lesser, i don't think i'm gonna stick to a 250 more than 3 years. Like my case, i was planning to train my self in a 250 bike before upgrade to a 600cc bikes. Those 3 years, will be nothing but a training purposes for me. Ofcoz, older bikes u gotta pay cash. not sure if loan can be manage..maybe a personal loan between u n the previous owner.

That's my concern too. since i will take my license this May, that officially put my first riding test n the second one would probably on the bikes that i would buy during that time. i might destroy it on my first ride. haha!

my budget is atound rm15k...what motorbike would u prefer?

If speaking from my side, having the same budget like u, i would definitely buy the 250R. if you browse around, be it Malacca, seremban or KL, pricing jaz within 13k to 16k mark max. U could take the year 2008, as most 250R do not take their bike for a hardcore ride. Except for me tho, on my 4th day of acquiring my L license and 7th day acquiring my bike, i go naik genting lol.

250R is easy to maintain. Cost for full piping will cost u a bit tho. Rm1.3k at jalan ipoh there. i forgot the name of the bike store d.

Now im aiming Ducs 848. Sexy, practical and sexy. lol.
