if you don't have such experience, i suggest you buy a cheap 4th hand RR, TZM or RXZ and rumble with the bike, get used with the clutch and everything else. Get used to it until the bike is destroyed...I don't wanna hear you destroy your brand new big bike...
believe me, I have several friends who owns big bikes. Once I had an idea of owning one, but those are the things they suggested to me. Until now, still put my intention on hold.
Remember, these bikes have the speed of a ferrari. Maintainence wise, they are more or less the same. Always use ultra high performance parts.
my colleague who had no experience riding a bike AT ALL, not even a honda ex5 just recently went straight to get a B full license, bought a second hand ER6N and is now riding the bike everyday to work with an L. All within 2 months or less. so far he tried speed up to 150kmph on his bike d.believe me, I have several friends who owns big bikes.
