Those liter bikes(1000cc) are maybe your dream bike but I don't think you shall get it for your first bike.. even a 600cc sport bikes are not easy to control. 1000cc sport bikes are absolutely not for beginner. 1 mistake could bring you to death and there's no way to buy back your life with money.

QUOTE(kaiwoon @ Mar 24 2010, 10:12 PM) 250r 2nd may cost u 16k..but an old r1 maybe just 20k..hard to choose sometimes.. the 250r 16k is registered in Malaysia and the R1 is SG registered yea.. Hmm.. Still, it's kind of a funny and stupid way to choose a 1000cc as a starter bike. your wrist have no idea how powerful is that thing under that beast. wrong throttle response gonna take your front wheel up into air and make you stand on your seat before you crash into anything. I'll suggest get a 600cc instead of 1000cc for first bike if you give full respect to it and take it real slow. 1000cc bikes are much more heavier than 600cc. SO! BE SMART
