hi there,i just bought my hero,n im kinda blur bout it(coz using iphone b4)just wanna enquire,why my hp is always on edge and not 3g?i did the settings from the maxis site,but all i got is the H logo on my hero.

Edge is E.
H logo on your Hero is HSDPA.
HSDPA is High-Speed Downlink Packet Access, an enhanced 3G. Also known as 3.5G.

haha sorry for my naiveness,kinda new to android thanks all for the nice replies  Added on February 25, 2010, 9:01 pmand one more question,i know this question can be found on the faq question,i just want a more detailed explantion.what is the different between rooting and changing roms?or we need to root the hp first in order to change the rom?i just gotten myself a hero,with android market already inside,i dont know it is a oversea unit or sumone already rooted it This post has been edited by lefty85: Feb 25 2010, 09:01 PM

Did u buy it from a 2nd hand shop?
