astro problem, got problem with my astro decoder

sorry if this isnt the right place, but I am having the following problem:
I can turn on the decoder only up until the clock shows time. Once I try to turn on, it will then shows -.-; then blank, then shows the clock back. Any idea what might happened? |

no, the normal grey one.
I can turn it on, only up until it shows clock. Once i tried to access any channel, it will somehow restart, and back to showing clock. |
