Assuming "Long wait of 10 years" is a reference to wc3 (which was actually 2002 but meh) and Arthas in terms of story, I'm guessing that hard mode will reveal a little bit more lorelol the same way Ulduar hard mode did. (There are some datamined files that support this theory)

Other than that, yeah, there aren't many more characters left from the WC3/TFT era with untold stories. Cataclysm for example is about Deathwing and Aszhara, both of which were only hinted at in both games. I guess the franchise is finally moving out of an (in-game) era.

Quit. Most of my friends have already done so, or planning to do so after killing Arthas themselves at any difficulty.

Myself, my account expires in a week and I have splurged my gold in making the hog mount and rounding off the achievements by getting the 310% violet proto-drake mount from the seasonal achievements. My 80s are decked out already, so I guess I'll be in good shape if I ever return.

from what i heard in the latest stormrage novel,
aside from most fanboys said it suck,
malfurion and tyranda consider staghelm as best friend.
malfurion and tyranda consider staghelm to be the best man in their wedding, (all this happen before staghelm went insane inside the story, couse by some powerfull guy, old gods?)

there is a happy ending, that malfurion and tyranda did get married.
and invite a arcmage to attend their wedding.
