According to Engadget, MSi has announced GT660 gaming notebook ahead of CeBIT 2010 at Hannover, Germany.

" In addition to the requisite red accents to make it go faster, this one packs a quad-core Core i7 processor, along with GeForce GTX 285M and, just as notably, some USB 3.0 ports to ensure your peripherals are just as speedy. Still no word on a price or other specifics, but MSI is promising to say more about this and the rest of its new systems at CeBIT next week. " quoted from Engadget.





Personally, I would like to go to this CeBIT exhibition at Hannover as currently I'm at Germany but still in consideration as the entrance fee costs me 17 EURO (student) and I need to travel from my place to there which costs me quite an amount.

For the time being, the answer is NO. They will announce it at this coming CeBIT 2010 at Hannover, Germany.

how many USB3.0 ports???

Asus will be putting only 1 on it's laptops for the time being due to power issues...

but heck, now i ve some doubts abt USB3.0 since Intel is also behind the research of Light Peak... Intel already demonstrated that it can run at 10Gbps in last yr's IDF, and that the ultimate goal is to get it to run at 100Gbps... it may even replace any data wires we see (SATA, SUB, Firewire, LAN)...

This model will be available at Time Square on 25 May 2010..check it out

IMHO, the most attractive things about this laptop are:
1. Can choose between 2x500GB and 500GB + 64GB SSD
2. 2 USB 3.0

quite a sweet deal there. but the key is - price.

please don't tell me 2 x USB 3.0 will elevate the price exceeding G73Jh...

According to NotebookJournal.de, the price starts from 1499 EURO. However, I believe that the price will be cheaper in US. For example, you can compare the price of Asus G73Jh in Europe and US. The difference is almost 300 to 400 EURO.
