QUOTE(jasondotcom @ Mar 24 2010, 11:12 AM) I hv been using this oil since my 1st service. It is called Shell Helix HX7 Semi synthetic. It's pretty good oil and common...it's from Shell of course it is. But many SC do not carry such oils as usually they will recommend you to use Petronas oils which is heavier. The authorized service agents for Protons does carry this helix oil though. Thanks for sharing the information. Ya i will definitely tell them not to overfill. Just make sure that they DO NOT OVERFILL your engine oil which they really love to do so and swear by it that "Campro engines need full 4 litres of oil" bullshit. It does not...and it's a cold hard fact. Currently FC clocking 6.9, town driving and ramping below 3k rpm on the initial Engine oil from factory (unidentified)... hope can do better than that, not yet do country drive. I think FC will show better result... |

QUOTE(vson @ Mar 26 2010, 11:26 AM) i will go for Ray Tech security tint for RM850. 4mil thickness for all window except front is 2mil only. alamak so cheap ka... i done mine at rm1300 i was thinking of going for the "huper optik" from USA. but the price is way too expensive... for those who want to install V-Cool, better go for Huper Optic. it is ceramic base paper and can pass through smart tag with no problem and it won't rust. Added on March 26, 2010, 6:43 pmOk.. persona can use normal engine oil ka, 20w50? It is must use semi or full sync? whats the implication if use the normal one arr.. i think service also 5k ma...SC not cover warranty? This post has been edited by Stimx: Mar 26 2010, 06:43 PM |

Hi guys Magnatrap u think good or not? I read the usage, it seems logic that it can reduce the tiny pieces of metal from flowing back to the engine and start grinding like sand paper... end up the engine koyak faster...
Protect engine with ~RM70 (i guess the price is correct?).. dunno the magnatrap can last forever or not.. whats yr opinion, can suggest abit ka.... |

QUOTE(Ultima @ Apr 5 2010, 06:02 PM) read somewhere tht those pieces of metal in our engine is aluminium, or shud i say magnetless, but dunno true or not... so if lets say its magnetless, will magnatrap works? Aluminium? So if it is the case its steel, then the gadget works, however if it is aluminium then is useless.... aiyah any one can confirm ka? |

QUOTE(muslayer @ Apr 6 2010, 07:16 AM) Is not steel, is cast iron. U can try stick 1 magnet at engine block see if it stick or not. If got steel also, i think is the bearing inside the piston rod , crank shaft and piston ring Wa good idea You can put a magnet behind the oil filter, then is it same at magnatrap ? Hehehe Persona absorber very good |
