if u want to insulated Persona, concentrate on the rear passenger part first. It's pretty insulated on the front cabin.

QUOTE(jasondotcom @ May 25 2010, 10:58 AM) just to inform you, all Persona doors (panel underside) and plastic panels are heavily insulated with a type of sound insulation pad. Pretty thick. That is why the doors are soo freakin heavy!!!! So if you wanna put extra padding.... i dunno how you are gonna stick it man. hahaha.... if that case..i wonder where more to put those aftermarket pad...that will make the door heavier and increase FC in the long runThose plastic sound... yea i do get some of those... Minor ones at the doors and also louder ones at the dashboard. I am trying to narrow down on where the heck it is to fix the noise. I believe its due to some loose wiring or metal rods for the locking mechanism that makes the noise. In my car, those safety belt anchor points near ur ear..... at the pillars la... do make some noise as well. I noticed that every time after car wash or rain.... the car is sure quiet and free from such noises mentioned. Below are the actual Persona door panel underside with stock thick sound insulation paddings. Note: Photos taken from someone else. Mine i forgot to take photos and its the same anyways. ![]() |

QUOTE(evolution120 @ May 25 2010, 06:22 PM) average city and highway (speed up to 120km) 50,50, ....mine auto can get 350-380km....its normal that every ads is different from the real result...that RM90=700km is able to achieve BUT, 100% highway driving with constant of 90km/h....those results normally tested on the track where no traffic or sudden slow traffic.Added on May 25, 2010, 7:15 pm QUOTE(krk24 @ May 24 2010, 11:09 PM) the guy put 4.3 litres...i still have balance can use for next interval change...so far this guy its knowledgeable & trusted shop....i wanna go to his shop for my future car service. at puchong bdr puteri...its recommended....to all who stay around puchong area... QUOTE(dARKaNGEl @ May 25 2010, 01:49 AM) maybe can also wrap the dashboard with alcantra leather thats a great idea. I think its possible as the top half of the dashboard is one separate piece if im not mistaken.Hope for ur success. anyway, just to share pic of my dirty air filter (non iafm). havent change for 20k km. Taking out to get the part number. |

QUOTE(dARKaNGEl @ May 25 2010, 02:49 AM) I have an SE and the only thing i changed are the rims. The bodykit is already nice, no need to touch and i'm loving the look of my car now the new rims that you've changed are not much difference to stock persona rims....but anyway its ur choice... Now just thinking of changing to a nice comfortable leather semi bucket seats. so far can't really find leather 1. maybe can get a nice pair of scsuss n rewrap with alcantra leather maybe can also wrap the dashboard with alcantra leather [attachmentid=1593007] [attachmentid=1593009] |
