Grrr.. my iswara is much sensitive then this problem.. ECU? or ? i know it's a Known issue for persona, as when test drive already have it, but they say it's "Solve-able" currently having Total of 178KM driven... >.< not bad for 2 days huh? always maintain 90-100km/h... only test speeding after meh 1k service >.< do hope to have a answer for this tq I got that same problem when I drove my bro's Iswara Merdeka edition (the one with the loud exhaust). QUOTE(arfaie @ Apr 25 2010, 10:43 PM) oo yea forgot to tell..while try a hillstart yesterday..the car lose its pickup, i cant did a hillstart and when i rev up, it rev down itself and the car stalled so many time...then i realized that when i floor the throttle fully down, it wont rev to the max..it rev itself up and down between 1k - 2k rpm Haven't been to Camerons in a long time. But I'm guessing it's steeper than Genting.i off the engine for a minute, the start again..the check engine indicator light on, and i can rev the engine max for a hillstart..the lights only off after about 1 hour... tomorrow will go to SC for 1k service..will ask them about this...got my car at 9km on odometer, now 1.3k km in only 5 days Drove my first gen Persona all the way up to the top of Genting before. 5 people in a car, proudest moment is when some Nissan Sentra (I think the newest one, the one in NFS Underground 2) tried to race with me and failed No stress to the engine, temperature didn't go up or any side effects. Except when going down, scary... |

Anyone notice whenever you're driving in the rain... the rain hits the side mirror in a way, it creates like a wave pattern on the window?
Sorta like, the water deflects/sprays from the bottom of the side mirror... dunno how to explain!!! |

QUOTE(khtee @ Apr 27 2010, 08:50 AM) is it better to get a manual or auto persona elegance?? Depends on your preference. If your tangan gatal wan, then manual best. But if you're working in KL and have to go through the jam... then auto is best.I dont mind driving stick, but how's the clutch like?? how bout auto transmission, any problem with its acceleration, is it linear?? and how does it perform going up hill?? anyone mind to enlighten me??any experience?? thanks I've driven both transmissions before, manual transmission's pick up is really crazy Auto is just crazy enough, enough to impress my friends who think their Vios and Citys are all that DarkAngel: Does using the cruise system help in fuel consumption? |

QUOTE(chteh0721 @ Apr 27 2010, 04:37 PM) for me in terms of performance esso > bhp, in terms of fc bhp > esso ... how you use cruise in heavy traffic? The car auto slow down also when nearing a car?Added on April 27, 2010, 4:38 pm for me using auto cruise in kesas highway is nightmare, half tank gone from cheras to west port, too many traffic, malaysia's traffic really not suitable for auto cruise |

QUOTE(dARKaNGEl @ Apr 28 2010, 12:48 AM) it depends on what speed you set at actually. in ELITE/NKVE, i set at 140. at LDP, i set at 120. since i drive long distance everyday, so FC doesn't suffer that much. a full tank can get me around 420-450km easily. Wow... my full tank can go max 400 only (driving sanely). But usually after pumping full, the countdown will show 440-450, and it will suddenly shoot down within a 5 minutes drive i believe if long distance and set at 110 or even 90, surely your FC will be very low I remember once I was leaving Kampar, the Shell station fella force the petrol in until 500... then I masuk highway... suddenly it started dropping by the seconds... I panic sial... |

Bhp = engine very quiet, but loss of power a bit Esso = engine very quiet, but loss of power a bit Petronas = engine noise a bit noisy, and loss a bit of power Shell = dont even dare to try Or maybe it's just the shell near my place, cause there's been rumour that they add water into the petrol I normally pump Caltex. |

QUOTE(Azuma-kun @ Apr 29 2010, 12:31 AM) Just now saw maybe M line elegance coz cannot see the rear brake. it was parked. That's B line. B line's side mirror and that plastic thingy on the doors are plain black. And the exhaust look like some recycled pipe black color, but i see the side mirror is not body colored. just a plain black. |
