Hi Hypro, which SC you visit to install the orifice valve?? I did went to the Jln 227 PJ SC while mentioned this things in 1 month back they said they never heard of such things! suck~

I need to service for my 10K mileage already, since the Jln 227 is closing down then need to find another SC which near around PJ. Can you share how the orifice valve will be install anything i need to mention specifically in order to get the consultant understand my concerns on the knocking sound remedy.

My foreman also said like that.... or your hydroulic tappet / latch will start knocking like mine.... he also recommend engine oil 15w/50 or 20w/50.

Anyone here can give some explanation.....

My car start from day 1 until now still facing the klok klok sound for front wheel..... ...not only the sound but it can be feel on pedal and steering...can feel like something loose at front wheel...this problem unable to solve until now
anyone face this problem?

Beside this, there is knocking sound for engine but SA claim that this cant be solve.....is original de.....so izzit true?

i have tried explaining this orific valve to my SC they seem to have no idea about this and according to them even Proton dont know how to rectify the klok klok sound..

aduh bro... well, if u really worried, then how bout changing it every 50k then? If 10k, any mechanic sure will scratch head one

so inserting that small valve means have to drain all the power steering fluid??....

I am not sure about that,normally for me I will wait for a few seconds till all the indicator lights are off except for the handbrake and can't remember which light,then turn to ignition.

mine mostly wait till the airbag lights off then ignite it, but these lately, my car starting to get hard to start the car for 1-2 times, oh gosh.... i hope there's nothing wrong with it.

When parking your car, during turning the steering, do you guys facing some sound like a loud motor running sound when turning ur steering to the end? is that normal? those that installed VS, did u notice the turning the steering is smoother than before?

ok i just sharing this story since it happens to my dad's fren and i was there when this shit happen

My dad's fren sent his BLM to this sc for 1k service. Leave the car there. He got called up saying that all done, he can pick his car.
Then he go, paid, start the car and driove off.

If u notice there is a new roundabout to jln cheras, bandar tun razak, KL, just after tmn midah
He said, when he stop there, he see some white smoke coming out. But he dunno coming from where so he just drive.
He said maybe due to lorry in front.

After he reach dbkl flat traffic light, at jln cheras, his car stalled and alot of smoke coming out from the hood.
He calls my dad, my dad and i straight go there to help him. When i was there, i realize there nothing much i can help so we call our regular mechanic at Caltex there to come and check it.

This mech said, there is no sign of ENGINE OIL in the engine, only the leftover. He check underneath of the car, the screw is bolt on. No leaking.

After the car has been towed, we drive back to the sc and ask. They admit they forgot to pour in the new ENGINE OIL. Can u imagine that? SC personnel said they FORGOT

So this my dad's fren ask them, so how now? They said will check first all the damage and this guy argue coz it's not his fault and he demand a full details of the report and inspection.
Burn seal, dented piston and so on. I forget about it coz too many
So now he still waiting for the approval of the new engine, from proton.

cannot replace whole car coz no damage on the car
only engine gone. can replace new engine. something like transplant

yeah its elegance unit..auto M line......i also wondering..but she say is brand new..from factory..but now proton's policy..u need to settle all payment..only can deliver the car to ur branch
