haha.....there are older wira,iswara, and waja 4g18 overheat...i think due to aging radiator system.... and going up to the peak costs nearly RM15 of petrol which is drop 1 bar with heavy revving right after the temple big turn all the way up......pump ron95 bhp with left over esso ron95....

since i get my elegence i have no chance to try it at genting or camerron, always bz.haizzz....

normal dohc vs vvt engine really have a lot of difference in terms of load / going up hill etc.

The difference can be really2 felt. vvt engines performs soo much better. how nice if persona engines are equipped with vvt technology. too bad

Can anyone share the breakdown of their 40k service? it seems that my usual SC is charging RM 300 for it...key items include:

1. Semi syn oil RM 100
2. Spark plugs RM 38
3. Labour charges Rm 100

I'm thinking the labour charges are abit steep aren't they? So I'm seeking your opinion to benchmark the labour costs amongst other SCs.

1. Either one of the 4 doors opened. - Yes indicated.
2. Rear boot indicated?
3. Front engine bonnet indicated?

I see...but the moment you send your car to outside SC means you void warranty right? My SC is charging RM 100 for the labour charges, for those who sent their rides to Proton SC, how much were you charged for labour? is RM 100 reasonable?

By right i already void my warranty and this is not the first time.Already did this to my previous ride.I think it should be OK if you know what are you doing to your car and insist using original spare parts.

problem is like if ur IAFM or ECU or gearbox faulty and they check ur booklet no service record, they have the right to ignore ur warranty claim.

Maybe u r dam rich then can ignore the warranty.
