just went for first 1000km servise, kena charge around rm 148 ...oil 99, gearbox oil 40 , and few small item ..and that technician pour all 4 liter oil ..is that good for engine ? @_@

and what the hell with free service labour fee coupon ? most of the shop i see state there its free even tho without the proton coupon ...

request lr full tank, like mine, cucuk2 ur SA sure can get lar, their commission high enough to cover that..

I was also wondering why some of you did ATF oil change quite early on, some @20,000 or 30,000 km. Any reason why? Because I'm @42,000 km currently and the SC hasn't recommended an ATF oil change..I think the SC dude recommended me to change @50,000 km.

Btw, I'm also thinking of changing my tyres soon. I'm leaning more towards affordable performance type of tyres e.g. Hankook, Michelin, Yokohama but most of them don't come in persona tyre size 195/60R15. I recently checked out Hankook V8RS at ~RM 200 a piece (but must trade-in all 4 tyres) and would like some feedback on using those tyres. Anyone here on Hankook V8? and is the price i'm offered considered good?

Some ppl have different preference in how their car feels like in terms of tire pressure front and back. So it is highly subjective.

For example, my previous car...i prefer 29psi front and 26psi rear.


For my Persona, the front i always set at 31psi and rear sometimes 31 psi and sometimes 29 psi.

change gear oil for manual around 35k ~ 45k range. for auto i think 20k ~ 30k range. I won't recommend u go back that SC. like slaughter house.
Midah SC nvr even install magnacrap and other oil treatment stuff.,


different SC different style..hehehehe

dont hav time to do that..after check the car condition, and sign the doc..while the car is washing, SA come to me and passed the coupon...then i only realized when he already left the carwash shop...but he already told me, if want to go for a tint..dont forget to ask him to come along...

mine i got

1) Touch & Go card preloaded with RM 20
2) Umbrella
3) Rm 30 fuel
4) Tint voucher worth rm 250.

Just wondering...for the current Persona Elegance H-line, does it come with tinting (solar film is the same thing?) A bit confused here...because some sellers in mudah.my said it comes with solar film. But I couldn't find it in the brochure.

not sure about Elegance but last time H-Line and SE comes with factory fitted tint. But it's totally useless. Better go tear out and put one set of your own choice

tear off the original tinted seem like wasted, is it advisible to put 2nd tint on top of it?

not recommended. it becomes too thick if 2 layer and will stress your power window motor trying hard to push up the window. moreover, 2 layer makes it very dark even if u put a tint with VLT 60 or 50%

I dig the side skirt and front bumper, not the grill though

Front 70% VLT, rear & side window must be 55% VLT.

although front minimum 70% VLT, it's really hard to find one in market that can comply to it.

just now only notice my air-con cooling pipe whole pipe is full of teardrop.... it that normal?

ask my SA yesterday about tint...he said nope, even the security tint. and u can see the mirror,windscreen very clear one..cause no tint at all

fu**tark laaa that SC.first 1000km changed gear box oil then pour all those 4 liter engine oil...normally just changed engine oil(RM70-RM200)+oil filter(RM8-RM12)+labour charge(RM10-20).
