QUOTE(MangO @ Feb 24 2010, 11:46 PM) I think Americans are purposely causing problems to other car manufacturers to ensure the world buys their cars. Don't you think the issue is overblown and over coverage on this issue? I totally agree. Overblown ~ I have lost my interest to follow such news anymore. So today is Sonata? What next? You think there'll be a stop? Nope. It's a never ending story since day 1. How many recalled done to date? Anyway, if our car being recalled one day, just do it. Everyone is at risk. There's no such thing called reliable from anyone. Our money is the most reliable. Stop buying cars then.

After watched the video, I find the car is cheap. For example, look at the buttons, don't you guys find it like those China made Hi Fi set? Especially the S shape button (air corn?), it feels like pressing buttons one of those stereo set made in Shen Zhen. Also the silver lining that run from the body to the end of the front on each side...so cheap. But I am wow-ed by 2 things, the folding side mirror which is slide up (but not automatic?), and the front lid, just a pop it is opened! Very convenient. And the engine is arranged neat and nice.
If it is sold here in Malaysia with less components and gimmick, I don't think the car can draw much purchase.
