i need suggestions here. I wanted to buy zalman cooler. I'm now choosing these 2 models, NC2000 and NC3000.

Which one you guys think the best option? NC2000 has 2 small fans and 3000 has a 22cm fan.

NC2000 comes with full aluminum body while 3000 also have aluminum but on the fan surface, the side were all made of glossy plastic.

anyway, which one is worth the price?

Updated: I just bought a Zalman NC3000U for 52aud, will update later

Wat is the recommended cooler for HP dv6? Hehe. Budget is Ard 100

Notepal U3..place it on the lefthand side from upward to downward...There's where it generates the heat. Or best just use your stand fan to hit directly at the ventilation hole.

I own a DV6 with Zalman NC3000s...doesn't seem help a lot though since its a one big centralize fan on middle where the heat is actually from the very left handside

I also plan to get a U3 and compare it with my Zalman NC-3000U ...it seems my DV6 doesn't affected by the cooling effect from the Zalman...

I got my HP DV6 3132TX for already near 9 months. My spec is i7-720qm on 4gb ram, GC is HD5650 running on 1GB memory. I just run a temperature test with and without Air Cooler in idle mode. I'm using Zalman 3000U

Without Cooler on Idle average on 48C GC at 46C

With Cooler on Idle average on 46C GC at 44C

With Cooler on Surfing Web and Video Watching average on 55C GC at 52C but after 30min will reach around 60C

I am not sure whether my laptop is in good condition so i need advise from you guys before i drive all the way down to Damansara HQ for warranted services.

PS: on gaming mode, it may go up to 89 celcius max on one core only
