ok...just checked using hwmonitor, looks like not temperature problem, although it getting quite hot but it has nothing to do with the jerky computer performance... should look at other possible cause.... sad.gif( no more warranty on my 6400

Bought the S4i last christmas, which cost about 130 SGD and it is an import set from US. Got a bit discount for it, there are newer model S5i, which same range and now cost around 190 SGD. You should take a look at the high end , X10i, it's so light weight, <10gram.

now it start to vary 45~55 now...it is continuous lag until i kill the process of the player or the browser. I am actually using the storm player and firefox, at first i thought it was the player and browser, but then i actually try other player like kmplayer/windows media player and use chrome/ie9, it still lag whenever open a video clip and browsing website with flash content, and it's very obvious when watching youtube......can't pinned down the problem yet...but some of the times it seem just fine when watching video/youtube... anyone encounter similar condition before?? i got to do a scandisk tomorrow...not sure if it could be harddisk issue...

yah, already verified it's used by those player, but no way these player could utilised until 100% of the resources, and even the task manager sometimes is utilised up to 10~30%....strange... as i mention, sometimes it do run normally which only utilised about 10% for watching video...

the player doesn't have this option so i guess by default it should utilized GPU to render the video. But while the freeze/lag happen, normally the player/browser will utilized up to 60~70% and task manager utilized about 10~30%. I do observe while everything running as normal, the player itself will only took about 10~12%....i'm planning to do a chkdsk and follow by clean os reinstallatioin, any advice i still can try before that happen?

can anyone suggest me a ultra powerful cooling pad for m6400. I finally figure out it's the overheat problem cause my computer to lag. i did put a fan directly at the back of my laptop and the lagness totally gone.. i really sweat.......80 deg can boil egg already...it just stay normal at around 70deg, once break the threshold that's it

it just too troublesome to remove the fans and heatsink..open it up once.. i end up fade up dismantling all the parts...then i just do general cleaning, might look for cooling pad first, if it doesn't help...well...maybe gonna visit some store to help me settle that.
