slackware display problem

i just installed slackware in my home pc, it boot up fine and i can use the command line without problem but when go to graphical interface the screen turn dark and the monitor light is blinking. Is this a problem with the display card or something wrong with the configuration?

use xf86cfg to configure your X server config files.
