Hi all,

Recently I found a house with a electricity sub station opposite to it. I just wonder whether the electricity sub station is dangerous or not? emit radiation that affect health? or will it affect the re-sale value or not? hmm.gif Will you consider to buy a house near to a electricity sub station?

There is a bomba hose in front of the house too... biggrin.gif any problem with it??

Thanks all laugh.gif

possible of catch fire and small explosion if voltage overload. It happens before. Better stay away from those. http://www.nst.com.my/Current_News/NST/art.../18fir/Article/

Things to consider...
What is the distance separating the perimeter of your house and the Sub Station?
How old is the Sub Station? Is it well kept? Free from rodents, pest and mosquito?

I have seen many Chinese owners just plant many tall shrubs to block the Sub Station 'chi'!
To them, the feng shui is their main concern rather then the radiation or fire hazard! laugh.gif

Which brings to the Fire hydrant...this is consider good Feng Shui as having 'money' biggrin.gif

What do u mean by sub-station? Is it those small pondok (about 15ft x 10 ft) in every residential area? I think those are just transformers at most. Should be ok else already banned by the government or big huh-hah by residents (like those radio towers for cellphones).

it will affect the re-sale value to be honest, very less ppl want a house near or infront of the sub station specially chinese. If possible try to look other place unless you dont mind of the sub station. * cheers* thumbup.gif
