Yeah, My computer is connected to the TV. I have been using the logitech wireless keyboard and mouse all these while.
The wireless only minimises the cable on my table but doesnt give me freedom to sit on the couch.
So even though wireless, I cant move around cause I need a hard and flat surface for my mouse.

Then I was searching high and low, I found this Logitech diNovo Mini but it's too expensive for me, RM400+.

Till I came across this wireless keyboard with touchpad.
I enjoy using it for brief online on my Ubuntu and my girlfriend enjoys it with her PPStream,
dont have to sit in front of TV stand to use to mouse to skip around her drama.
Just sit back and control using the touchpad and shortcut keys.

battery life? type of battery? rechargeable?

The continuous battery life is 75 hours without backlight. I would need to check with the supplier on teh type of battery. It is rechargeable via the USB cable that is in the package.

Hi bro, I am afraid this wireless keyboard is of different nature with Logitech Harmony.
Logitech Harmony is used to remotely control TV/AVR/VCR/hifi/Astro and etc.

While this wireless keyboard is used to control computer, whether netbook, notebook, HTPC or desktop.
This wireless keyboard could be used with PS3 and Wii as well.

Technically, Logitech Harmony uses InfraRed signal to communicate and this wireless keyboard uses RadioFrequency to communicate.

That say, both serves different purposes and different appliances.

Dear bros, the bluetooth is rather expensive i feel which is why i never brought it into malaysia. It is around RM200. To me: if two different technology works the same, why spend more for it? Unless if your bluetooth enabled pc runs out of usb port. But if you guy are interested, i will get a quotation and do a bulk on that.

To bro one leg kicking: the range is 33 feets, max i tried is 20 feet line of sight.

If you do, please update me! Very very interested in the bluetooth version. Because more and more Laptops are equipped with bluetooth already, let's just say, the RF dongle just adds the bulk to my bag~ I plan to use the EFO on my project's presentations which is mostly held outdoor with people's laptop. I just bring my slides in a pendrive and link the bluetooth to their laptop, done! Awaiting your good news~

Hi Paparisa,

I guess you are refer to the 'Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor' function. It is possible for your daughter to watch it on TV and you working on your Microsoft Words.

However, the computer is only responding to a single input unit i.e. one mouse icon. In short, your daughter cant control (play, pause, stop, forward) her cartoon when you are working on your Words.

The touchpad do not support scrolling vertical/horizontal. I do scrolling using the directional key.

The bluetooth version supports vertical scrolling.

No preview for products I am bringing in, I bring everything in bulk. So I gotta make sure it is the best product in market.

Which is why I am still looking for better alternative to the RM209 Bluetooth version. I feel it might not worth the price, I am sourcing around to get a better product, if possible, at the price range.

If you have seen any, you could suggest and I shall look into it.

We COD'd the BT version last Sunday night. Nice friendly neighborhood seller. Just got time to play with it. The pairing was easy enough. All you have to do is slide the ON key and press the reset button on the MiWiT. Then, enable BT setup on the MAC/PC/Linux and you're done.

It comes pre-charged and you can use it straight away.

The only drawback for me is the keyboard button placement... Not that good. I prefer if the manufacturer use the BlackBerry keyboard as a reference. Thumbtyping would be a godsend!

It works on my MAC Mini flawlessly albeit need to remap some keys.
