hey!
I just registered for UniSA CMM program. I would like to know whether the shutter bus service picks up anywhere near SS2(PJ) or Shah Alam?

QUOTE(cohenchow @ Jan 11 2011, 12:34 AM) Greetings to all of you here. Hi!Recently I have been awarded Tertiary Merit Scholarship, I have also enrolled myself. But i still havent got my agreement? Should I receive it before orientation or during orientation? And... the offer letter is just way too simple. == Why didn't taylor's include any details about the orientation? like what activities will be held and something like that? i want to apply for the tertiary merit scholarship as well. i was told to apply online. did u apply online too? at the section B, we're suppose to list down ALL the subjects we taken (in my case, diploma in college)? or did i misunderstood? and if i don't have any additional english qualification, do i just leave the column empty? thanks a lot! |

QUOTE(cohenchow @ Jan 15 2011, 01:40 PM) yea, I applied online and stated 15 subjects that i took during my foundation studies. Wow.. thanks alot! Yea, you will just need to leave it blank. (: They will call you once they get your application and ask for the photocopies for your transcripts all that. If your pointer meets their requirement to be eligible for 50% or 100% scholarship, you will need to go for an interview. (: |

Hey everyone.
I'm quite in a dilemma now. I've already registered and enrolled (paid) for UniSA CMM program. What i'm really confused is, during the campus day (the same day i registered), the guy who entertained me and help me with all the application forms and stuff, told me that i am exempted for the first year and that i can go straight to the second year. (I already got a diploma from another college) And on the day i go pay my fees, the lady said i'm starting from the first year. I told her my situation and she just told me to go talk to the division officer during the orientation. A friend of mine who studied the same thing in college, who also registered, was told by the dean that she can go straight to the 3rd year! So, i'm confused and worried. Should i be? What should i do? I don't want to waste extra years there! |

QUOTE(Hikari0307 @ Feb 9 2011, 12:03 AM) huh straight into 3rd year? Your sure on that? UniSA has a maximum amount credits you can transfer and that is usually a maximum worth of 1 year for people from Diploma. The dean said that? That's weird she usually won't say confirmly on how much credits one can get since Taylor's have no power in deciding exemptions for UniSA programmes, they have to send all the neccesary documents over to UniSA and wait for them to decide. Yea, my friend told me that. Do u think i can settle this during the orientation or do u advise otherwise? There's still chances that i can get exempted from certain subjects? But will it take time for them to get approval from UniSA? |

QUOTE(Hikari0307 @ Feb 10 2011, 04:32 AM) The best thing is to settle it before orientation since this kind of things takes time and if you wait until orientation getting into the right classes and subjects is gonna be a problem. Usually if UniSA has made their decision on exemption, you won't be getting anymore. Go to Taylor's Division office of Business and Law and try asking Hey Hikari! Thanks for the advise! When to Taylors yesterday to settle it. Who knew it needs to fill up a form and it takes 2 weeks for approval. So gonna wait.Anyway, i dunno what will this thread do without you. Thank u so much! |
