QUOTE(Hikari0307 @ Oct 25 2010, 10:07 PM) yeah in Aussie they do have summer semesters. ERM, according to the course structures, there'll be 7 electives.hum but I don't know about here never heard about it. Go and ask your UniSA programme Director or maybe Ms. Yong,Ms. Vinitha, Ms. Irene etc. what are you confused with? Maybe I can help out. A maximum of 4 subjects i may choose from the communication and the remaining 3 subjects? Those 3 subjects must be chosen from either Accounting or Applied Finance? I do not have any interest in accounting hence the remaining 3 subjects i must 'force' myself to choose them from applied finance. == |

QUOTE(Hikari0307 @ Oct 26 2010, 05:10 PM) yeah other than the core subjects and subjects from your major you have to take 7 more elective subjects to fulfill requirements to get a Degree. icic, seems like it's not a wise choice for me since i need to force myself to take the remaining electives from applied finance. ):If you were to complete the Degree in Taylor's University yeah that is your only choice you can take up to 4 subjects from the School of Communication and you would have to choose the other 3 from either Accounting or Applied Finance since you have no interest in Accounting you would have to take Finance Subjects. This is so because you need the credits to earn your Degree. If your in UniSA, Adelaide those 7 electives can actually be taken from any faculty in UniSA as long as your programme director approves it but since your in Malaysia you can only take subjects from the other UniSA degrees available in Taylor's which are applied finance and accounting. 4 subjects can be taken from the school of communication is because the mass communication degrees are also offered through a twinning with UniSA so you can take their subjects but it is limited to those 4 due to several reasons like limited resources, pre-requisites etc. hope that has helped ^^" one more question bro, i wonder that, how should i arrange the elective? i mean the elective in each semester mus be synchronized with the subject in the other course? eg, during year two semester one, i need to take the elective from the school of communication/school of accounting&finance at the same level? QUOTE(raymannlucas @ Oct 27 2010, 10:07 PM) can i complain in this thread? taylors parking is a big issue... this morning took me 45 mins just to find a parking space...what piss me off is they r gonna changed one huge portion of student parking into staff parking! This is ridiculous, you pay tuition fees and the staffs receive wages but they have priorities to park their cars. |

QUOTE(Aztec @ Nov 10 2010, 10:09 PM) any other students feel aggrieved at the ridiculous parking situation now? the whole tarmac parking has been reserved for the staff while we are forced to park at the stone areas...not only is the tarmac parking not fully occupied, we are forced to park by the roadside as there are not enough parking bays available.. Agreedbloody taylors should remember that we are your customers too..is this how u treat ur customers?? whats more with the coming parking fee of rm100++ a month to park on STONE surfaces? isnt it ridiculous to charge students for parking? as if we are not paying enough already.. This makes no difference as in utar Kampar. Utar Kampar has this problem and gets attention from the newspaper. However the difference is that taylors charges expensive fees which is almost double than that of utar does. This post has been edited by immrcoke: Nov 11 2010, 04:02 AM |

Hi everyone,
I visited lakeside campus recently and i noticed that there're quite a lot of students in that campus. FYI, i am interested in the UWE business course. Since business course is always a famous course hence I am wondering that how many students would be in the hall during a lecture? I am afraid that there'll be hundreds of students squeezing in the hall and hence affect the quality of the lecture. Is there any students from Taylor's University can give me some clarifications about this doubt? Thank you. I would love to ask that, why most of the people say that banking and finance is the hardest among all business courses? May I know it is hard in what sense? == require good mathematical skills? Anyone studying Applied Finance in Taylor's? Is it the same as Banking and Finance in other universities? |
