ahaha yeah but I want to make a thread that covers the whole Taylor's ^^There's a lot of random threads around on specific courses and that one is kinda like a discussion on the lakeside campus so why not make one big thread for the whole University College/College =)

Intakes for all of Taylor's programmes are listed on their website. Go and check for yourself.
If it's a common text book , you can borrow from the library, renewing and borrow another copy throughout the semester ahaha XP
You will always have seniors selling their second hand books. There's a bookstore on campus and also one of Taylor's official book store partners in SS15 in front of Taylor's College and they come sometimes at the beginning of the sem to sell books.
Your classmates are fixed but you go around to different classrooms for different subjects.

Don't worry, there's more enough promotions done there if they have any exciting events. Just occasionally read the notice boards around campus.
There's tons of shops around TCSJ. Restaurants, bakeries, fast food shops, stationary shops, food courts etc.
AM Bank ATM is right at the gate of TCSJ but other banks like Maybank,CIMB and BSN is not too far away. There's also other banks like public bank and eon bank within walkable distance at the edges of the shop areas away from Taylor's.

Clubs, it depends on the type of person you are. If there's no club that your interested in, gather a few friends and form your own club, the ECA people is very helpful and nice people that can help you along the way. I mostly spent my time with the Anime club back then. Contrary to what most people might think we are not a bunch of otaku, the main committee at least during my time were very good with our academics and we organized events that had thousands of profit dealing with big companies like Animax Asia etc.. How many people can say that they have done that ahahah XP
