The advanced standing entry requirement is for those from Diplomas or Advanced Diplomas etc. that's seeking to enter with credit transfers to skip a year or 2.

All Taylor's programmes are in Taylor's University ,Lakeside so it's there.
Well if you don't have two Cs then if you still want to study you'd either redo a pre-u or you go into the Diploma programme. It depends on you what to do.
You could also go and do a Diploma somewhere else first at a cheaper place like sa TAR College and come do a Degree in Taylor's later etc.

Taylor's College only have those international pre-u programmes (CAL,IBDP,CPU & SAM)

you'll have to go and give Taylor's a call to ask that cause I'm not sure if PA counts or not.

Anytime before the intake will do. Apply as soon as you have your final pre-u results ^^

Don't stay in the TU Hostel. The form there have prices for their other Taylor's owned apartments which are cheaper. Or there's a huge amount of places that could be rented in SS15 with cheaper prices. All this places has daily free shuttle buses transporting students to and from those places to TU.

Yeah I understand. I think hospitality management is more common than event management.
But I wouldn't make a distinction between them in terms of which job has a higher pay eventually.
As you work up from a regular employee to a manager, your pay rises up gradually.
Both degrees are fine as long as they provide you with enough professional experience.

Any university in Australia that accepts credit transfers. Amount of exemptions differ by each University and only them can answer and getting admission also depends on you meeting their minimum entry requirement.
For me I'd prefer hospitality management rather than event management. But actually their about the same and you'll have to start from the bottom in both and it depends on you from there. Hospitality may have more prospectives as well. You have to go to Taylor's and ask. They have a section one floor above admissions where you can consult the counsellors on PTPTN,scholarships,bursaries etc. and they will assist in applying.

its better for u to invest the money or save it....

go to a cheap college eg tar college.. get a diploma and start work in hotels if u are really interested in hotel industry

i don know about the foundation thing.. but seriously... don waste ur time... just go and work part time in fnb ... mainly hotels.. especially banquets and coffee house since they are the ones which will teach u the basics of fnb ... to see whether u really into this line or not...

work for 6 months... then enrol in tarc (cos cheap) for a diploma in hotel... after grad... go straight to work

working in 5 star hotel restaurants is better than working in those non hotel restaurants.... cos it will affect ur resume greatly

work exp for maybe 2 years in a hotel restaurant is way better than 10 years experience in a non hotel restaurant

Hi all. I've enrolled in nutrition & food science, July intake & I just got a letter from Taylors regarding a programme named "Effective & Creative Scientists". Is it compulsory to join? & what is it about?

according to the letter we must confirm whether are we going or not before 15th july.

Well they have been looking into phasing out twinning programmes and growing their own programmes since they received university status. Anyway if you get in the law programme before they phase it out, then live goes on as usual even when they stooped taking in new intakes.
It's best to contact Taylor's directly on that.
PTPTN loan is not available to courses offered in Taylor's College as those are pre-university programmes and PTPTN does not provide loans for that. If you mean programmes in Taylor's University, then go to the scholarship and bursary counter in the student central and they can help you.

Yes you can. Yeah it's not a twinning programme, it's a dual-degree programme but yeah you can still transfer.
