here comes the question..

ok as a first-time modder..i have to get my tools right 1st..

first of all..i wud be performing a simple mod on my HTPC..

What am I gonna implement?
- Both sides would be cutted away to mount up an acrylic panel
- At the top side, would cut an extra or two more holes to mount up fans
- Both acrylic would be cutted to mount up some extra fans
- MAYBE spray the case with an extra blue color to make a design or something?

So here comes my question:

Q1) What are the tools that I need to Cut the circles for the fans and to make a hole to screw the acrylic panel + fan? I know the basic tool would be the Rotary Tool, but what other tools i need and what accesories are needed to make this simple mod?


Q2) My SFF is the SG02-F. The side panels has these small holes *I believe this are ventilation holes for air to pass through*. IF i cut the panel, there would be bits of this holes that are left half hanging, what are the best way to cover it up? Some1 suggest just cut it all off, and IF i cut it all off, should i drill tose bits of hole in the acrylic instead?


Q3) How much would these Tools + Accesories cost me?


Lastly but most important,
Q4) Who can supply me the tools?

1 ) U must have a rotary tools or jigsaw or hole saw . U also need a double side tape or screw to mount the acrylic panel to the original side panel .

2) If u dun want to cut it , u can use fiber filler or putty to cover the hole and then paint it .
