Hi guys, just want to share my experience.

First issue:

I bought the Panasonic 1.5 inverter from Ken in March 2018. Everything works fine except there is a weird sound occasionally. Whenever the weird sound occurred, I can feel the vibration on the left-hand side of the blower. It did not bother me too much in the beginning. The sounds are similar to this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zLRIGdS1IU).

However, it got worse over time and I am able to reproduce this issue pretty consistently. I did some research online and found that it may be the bearing of the air-cond blower (the round cylinder thingy). Usually, by applying some grease on the bearing will fix this problem. But, since it is still under warranty and I'm not professional, I gave Ken a call.

Ken told me that this is still under warranty and asked for more details like the serial number, address and etc. He will forward the information to Panasonic for me. I also send him a short video that I took. Hopefully, this can be fixed ASAP.

I will update again once this issue is resolved.

Second issue:

While checking the air-cond, I found that the top part of the cooling coil (screenshot attachment) is damaged. In total, there are 3 holes like that and I am not sure why. I will check with Panasonic when I see them.

Update: It is not resolved yet. I am still waiting for a call from Panasonic. However, I kinda got used to the sounds and the vibration seems occurring less often now (maybe 20% of the time). I will leave it like this for the time being if nobody came and fixed it (I will update again if they fixed it).

[RESOLVED] Big thank you to Ken, he came with the worker and inspected the unit. Unfortunately, the problem is not reproducible and everything looks perfectly fine after we opened up the air-conditioner (they also help to clean the blower thumbup.gif). We had concluded this is a defect with unknown root cause at the moment. AFAIK, this problem seems very rare and I am the first customer who reported this issue to him. Ken advised to report this to him when it occurred again and he will help to escalate this to Panasonic. thumbup.gif

Overall, I am happy with this air-conditioner and the after-sales service. thumbup.gif
