Why every time when I turn off the LCD, the clock have to reset?

I plug off my LCD every day. The clock never resets.
Your LCD might have some problem. I suggest you contact the service center. Hopefully it's just a software bug. |

I'm not sure for S series, but V series in the manual did say that when you turn off the power, clock will reset. It should be the same for S. You need 1000 hours to make it 1kWh=21.6 cents well, if possible do not completely turn off yr LCD by AC switch off. i always put it in Stby Mode ~ the power consumption in STBY mode is less than 1 W (energy star requirement) yr clock will reset if yr tv completely has no power for more >24 hours ~ 48hours. sometimes its the capacitor that holds the memory of the clock. capacitor will discharge over time. |

Left the TV at Standby mode is putting your TV at risk of lightning (although very rare). But it do happened.

my V-series does the same thing, my tv is always on standby..no idea why the clock will reset..
