I plug off my LCD every day. The clock never resets.
Your LCD might have some problem. I suggest you contact the service center. Hopefully it's just a software bug.

You sure are? I'm not sure for S series, but V series in the manual did say that when you turn off the power, clock will reset. It should be the same for S. Or maybe every time you on the TV at 12a.m tongue.gif
So, the solution is don't completely power off the TV, just leave in standby mode only. Power consumption is about 1W only in standby. You need 1000 hours to make it 1kWh=21.6 cents laugh.gif

i agree with emks opinion !
well, if possible do not completely turn off yr LCD by AC switch off.
i always put it in Stby Mode ~

the power consumption in STBY mode is less than 1 W (energy star requirement)

yr clock will reset if yr tv completely has no power for more >24 hours ~ 48hours. sometimes its the capacitor that holds the memory of the clock.
capacitor will discharge over time.

Left the TV at Standby mode is putting your TV at risk of lightning (although very rare). But it do happened. tongue.gif
