its a good thing you did not settle outside court. He'll probably lure you to an area with a lot of "his" gang "to pay you" and...well, you can imagine the worst.

You do not need to worry about his report, it doesn't make sense being an "accident" when dents are all over the car...his and your car rite? If you or your friend had taken a video of the chase/runaway, it'll further solidify your case.

That being said, you should be very careful from now onwards. He could be following you to work/home etc. Continue with your attempted murder police report. Get rid of these bastards for the safety of others.

nobody on their right mind thinks that you should be blamed. Its obviously the other guy's fault. He even reported the incident differently which I think can lead to a penalty fine/prison for making a false police report. The flash and honk is there for a reason. As long as you did not misuse it...heck, even if you misuse it...its no reason to go around chasing a car ramming into him over and over again like in a James Bond movie.
