i think ur question already been asked so many times until we lost count...
for Myvi the recommended will be 195/55 R15 you will get better performance tires and also some comfort performance tire in the range... u can get Yokohama A Drive, Yokohama C Drive,Toyo DRB, Michelin PP2, Michelin Primacy LC, Bridgestone GR80

but if you don want to upgrade stick to 14" then 185/60 R14 which is good in comfort... u can get Yokohama A Drive, Michelin XM1, Toyo Teo Plus

what kinda noise are you talking about please be more specific...

1. Not required
2. If you have the budget to go for sport rims, then go ahead
3. Decent size balanced with FC & Performance - 185-60-R14 (provided if you use stock rims)
4. Where is the noise coming from?? Please be more specific..

Those noise coming from car interior.. Blerk, blark, noise I dont like when i m driving. What should I do? what you guys do if u want to eliminate those interior noise.

I heard that low profile tyre is good for performance? got measurement for it? Another problem, I dont know how to read these tyre measurement: sweat.gif

195/55 R15
185-60-R14

i know the Ori is 175/65 R14 la... lower profile does give you a lil edge but 185/60 R14 we told u here is merely the same height tongue.gif only tire thickness will be different if you upgrade to 15"...
go to the shop tell them i want 195/55 R15 tires Yokohama C Drive... they will tell u... don listen to the recommendation just tell them that... ask them to quote u the price...
write down the names that i give u... that is the comfort tires for ur ride except i wrongly put in the Michelin PP2...

ok i know how to read the measurement liao. tongue.gif I m considering:

185/55 R15 +0.34% 2mm
195/50 R15 -1.2% -7mm

micheal, any comment between the two? the -7mm means car lower down by -7mm? also, whats the price difference uh? tongue.gif i know some tyre is more expensive than others.

michelin pp2 is performance tyre? how its like between performance tyre vs comfort tyre? hmm.gif

thx for ur help.

For most comfort, Michelin Primacy LC - RM200
For good handling in wet and comfort, Hankook V12 Evo - RM 184
For Value for money, Falken Ziex 912 - Rm167
For Good grip, Michelin Pilot Preceda 2 - RM230

Michelin PP2 is Ultra High Performance tire... slightly lower diameter reading will now affect the handling and comfort too much but the tire side wall stiffness will... compare to Michelin PP2 and Toyo T1R which ppl complaint that PP2 will give you harsher ride but T1R is quite comfort... so it is your choice... whether to change to 185/55 R15 or 195/50 R15 or 195/55 R15 where all of the size PP2 have stock... smile.gif

from the pic we cannot see lah... even expert also very hard to tell... looks like 16" rim for me..

where do you get that??? the price list with some summary...

applicable for 195/55 R15 only...
For comfort - Michelin Primacy LC, Yokohama C Drive, BS GR80
For Value for money, comfort and a entry performance - Falken Ziex 912
For good Braking in wet/dry, UHP tire with a lil comfort - Hankook V12 Evo, Toyo T1R, Toyo DRB
For anti-hydroplaning, wet handling - GY F1 GSD3, Michelin Pilot Preceda 2 (lower noise compare to other UHP tire)

but the list will never stop... give me ur indicated price/tire... the rims u set a budget for urself also maybe u can get CT or Vios 2nd hand... Klang has a lot...

i get that from myvi forum haha. anyway, i decided on using 185/55 R15. 195 width is maybe too huge for me. 185/55/R15 is ngam ngam hau. My brother bought new city s spec, his tyre size is 175/65/R15. Although the width is the same, his tyre is slightly bigger than mine. Of coz my myvi wont be nice to have 195/50/R15 rite? the width is HUGE! fc kena jaga haha. Btw, i need to know what the price difference between different tyre size.

ok, i wan to decide on the tyre as well. no budget but i wan optimum setting for my wheels.

For comfort - Michelin Primacy LC, Yokohama C Drive, BS GR80
For Value for money, comfort and a entry performance - Falken Ziex 912

any wheel in between "comfort" and "better cornering"? ziex 912 ok?

thx for guiding me. notworthy.gif

912 is nice with the Value of $$$... it is cheaper almost similar price with C Drive around RM180 only... but Michelin LC will not give you the 185/55 R15 size i think... so does the 912 also... i think the best bet if you want to use 185/55 R15 is Michelin PP2... actually all the newer cars now they use special size... so tire range is a lil limited... smile.gif cheers...
the best bang of buck is to 195/55 R15... ur bros will be 195/60 R15...

yes, i assume the 185/55/15 is abit more expensive right? how about 185/60/14?

from my understanding, the 14 inch upgrade to 15 inch is pointless because you couldnt see any big difference. I think 195 width is too huge for myvi. hmm.gif I see on the forum that some people regret of having 195 and want to change back to 185. I dont want to regret like him.. haha. even honda city high spec has 185/55R16.

thanks for replying.

well it is ur preference... 195/55 R15 has better tires than 185/60 R14, but 185/60 R14 tires is cheaper Michelin XM1 around RM150, Falken 912 RM140... but 195/55 R15 good tires Falken 912 RM180, Michelin PP2 RM240, Yokohama S Drive RM250, Toyo T1R RM250...
of course u pay more u get better tires but if you opt for comfort yes stick to 185/60 R14... 185 width will give you optimal FC while wider tires might increase rolling resistance so FC will increase... smile.gif

haha... i know a lil only... more on 17" and below... 15" and 14" know already coz using this 2 sizes myself mah...
i threat car tires as no1 priority coz it give away then our life might also... dangerous to have tire that did not give us good amount of traction especially during wet condition...

on the leather seat i suggested u ask in the Myvi thread as there is 1 for it already... sure some of the Myvi owner had already gone thru this process...
