Do try TKIP encryption instead of AES in your router setting.

Hi... I'm having a similar problem with WiFi on my HTC Hero...
I can connect to my uni's unsecured wifi network no problem...
When I come home, I connected it to my home wifi (Linksys WAG200G) with WEP security. I entered the correct passcode, it obtained an IP address and even says "Connected".
But when I try to browse the web or use any web-based applications, they fail to load at all. I even tried turning off the WEP security, making my wifi unsecured, connected my Hero again, but same problem.
Any ideas?
EDIT: I restarted my hero several times and tried several times as well. Tried to make it forget the network, reconnected it, nothing solves it yet.
Btw my HTC Hero was rooted using shahz's guide.

Is the problem of the Rom, your should root another Rom.
Actually, u can try to switch off the router for one or two min, then connect back the router, wait for the router turn to green light ,then u turn on your phone WiFi.(before the router turn on,u don't turn on your phone WiFi)

Btw which ROM should I use? I think the problem lies with my router... Coz I have no problem accessing the internet in uni... On a seperate note, I'm also having problems with Market. When I download apps, they are all stuck at "Starting download". Any solutions?

I think router problem, i dont get why ppl ask ts to flash another rom, ts clearly said he has no wifi problem elsewhere
One more thing, make sure ur not using ur internet connection to torrent or anyone else, even if bt shows 0kbps down and up. Heavy traffic when connect to allot of peers
