QUOTE(z2forex @ May 3 2010, 09:33 PM) I trade mostly GU, GY, EU, EY, AU, AY. My target is to get on average 100-200 pips per day (very achievable now) and to further improve it to 250-300 pips per day. Last month I did 73 trades, all profitable (3822 pips) giving an average pips/trade of 52.36, which I intend to improve to 70+ hopefully this year hi, i'm new in forex...been demo for 2 mths with no consistent profit. Mind to share what is your strategy? thanks!

QUOTE(billytong @ May 10 2010, 01:44 PM) I would say nice try. BNP, can they guaranty that? Back in 2 years ago. People are calling USD grave yard. Look what happen now? Economist can predict whatever they can see base on economy studies, but the real fact is politician can make wrong thing look OK. Logical thing can become illogical or otherwise. Besides in terms of economy size/GDP alone, Germany + France alone took a huge portion of Eurozone economy. And it is not the entire Europe facing the trouble. It is those 5 trouble makers digging their down grave. They had benefit a lot, over leverage when they adopted Euro last time. Now it is time for them to pay back what they had gained. hi billy, are you full time trader? what pairs you trade?... i trade GU, GJ.

QUOTE(luqmanz @ May 19 2010, 11:09 AM) Ok, what does your trading plan says about "riding the winner"... ? Trails stop ? partial take profit ? etc ? Partial take profit is good option. Or hedge it. Hope your next question is not which broker i use.

QUOTE(luqmanz @ May 19 2010, 11:29 AM) I was going to ask, "are you disciplined enough to take profit when the time comes so your winner wont be loser ?" But nevermind that question. As long as u know what to do, its good. That is a very good question. Not easy to be done. But i always remind myself "the market will go against me one day". A good way is to close the MT4 after closing a trade. Never look at at until the next trading day. Any method you use to be more discipline?
