QUOTE(Sham903n @ Mar 3 2010, 02:48 PM) im a student of a trading group.. im not allowed to share it "trading stratergy".. nda.. I must say.. account grow steadily.. first time ive come across that group.. I thought its just another scam.. but after a family member urge me to go, even offered to pay the fee for me.. I took the plunged paying the fees my self to try to proof her wrong.. its seems that I was wrong about judging too early.. thank god I found that teacher waah EUR/USD @ 1.3732 so high!now which way the market choose to go.. I made profit.. literally.. its funny how a teacher who charges less than 1k for the knowledge can make a whole lot of difference..$$$ every one of us was given the same receipe... but each cook brings different results.. Hi Sham, what group is your? so good ? how to join?? Added on March 4, 2010, 12:55 am QUOTE(sleepwalker @ Mar 3 2010, 03:56 PM) It is not that people do not share but rather there is nothing to share. Would the mad scientist try to teach the village idiot the theory of the cosmos? Lets use an analogy closer to home or closer to the average age of the members in lowyat.. Would the top student in class share their knowledge with the bottom student and invite them to their top student's study group? I don't think so. Ha ha ha, like me i'm DIY type, trading mini account. I am still loosing money. If i share with you, you also loose $$. So better not share and keep it all to myself, hahahah. Losse my $ , so nvm. Losse other people $ , wait kena KILL!!People think that by behaving like a noob or declaring that they are a noob in the forum and they will automatically get help. Wow.. how things have changed from school. I can't remember the last time somebody in class (which was a long time ago) stood up and declared that they are the dumbest kid and in need of help. That never happens in class but in the forum, I can say that there are plenty of freeloaders and beggers around. To form a trading group, you first have to find people who have similar trading experience with you and then also find people who trades the same strategy as you do and that is not easy. So don't blame us for not sharing since we don't know what to share as people don't ask the right questions. Most people just say "I'm a noob, help me". QUOTE(Sham903n @ Mar 14 2010, 01:31 AM) scalping is addictive but tiring... I think scapling is very very stressfull, watching the screen full-time. When it go against you, that two thing below also shrunk. I though i was the only sour looser, that feel that the "house" is eating our $ as it always spike me out (on my SL). Hehe , looks like we have some common feelings.Im currently changing from scalping to position holder possibly more than a month.. I have a few open position... currently my longest trade started at 2nd March with total >20% floating profit from my total equity, not bad for 2 weeks. We will see if I can fish more moolaah.. next week.. still learning not to take profit early.. arghh so tempting to close all position... oh ya.. im a gamer 15years ago and still a gamer now.. I play online game while im trading..since my pc can Multi-trade with 4core cpu easy now.. at least it kills some of the waiting/monitoring time and keep my emotion occupied with somthing else..lately I start to feel long term position holder is right for me.. getting old i guess.. ohh one more thing.. "trust me, once you go live, you will learn... alot" all the best in your scalp trades.. I'm a newbie, still loosing $, hense nothing much to contribute yet, but being here in this thread, i guess is sufficient to 'add' moral support and keep this treat active. Looking forward to Monday, to start loosing again This post has been edited by Raymondetc: Mar 14 2010, 05:00 PM |

QUOTE(thomas @ Mar 22 2010, 12:15 AM) my target is to earn 1mil within few months... that's possible. but how ? currently I using real account ,starting trade on 18th, til now i earn 200% of my total capital. that's crazy... My immediate goal is not to blow my USD300 micro account for the next 6 months (4 more months to go) In Forex, i guess anything is possible. Wish you good luck. When you hit 1M, do remember to buy us tea, for all Forex 7 forumers |

Wooooh, so much happenning in just a couple of days. Well, still in Thailand.....relaxing....trying to find a good trading strategy. I'm taking the long, slow way to trading, doing small things at a time.
Guess the younger trader are more highly charge, old trader like me (newbie) do it so slooooowly. Anyway, still in Thailand, and don't have full time internet access. Just dropping by to wish every one happy successful trading. Hope every one can find their own repective stress-free successful trading style. As i don't have a successful trading strategy yet, i find trading very stressfull. Chat more when i go back to Malaysia.......me, i'll relax on the beach.....wait for another sunset, visit some temple, get some massage to activate my Yin & Yang, be fresh and go back to start trading again. Thomas; add oil. You can only become outstanding by doing things that go against the 'Norm'. You are still young, go live your dream. The most important aspect is the experience or living your dream. Result is secondary. Do all you want to do when you are young. Hope you get 'rebounnce' soon. I was young............before...... |

QUOTE(kelvin_tan @ Apr 9 2010, 05:57 PM) giving millions to an unknown stranger.. think of it my way.. Assuming (really assuming, but i REALLY WISH ) i have huge amount of money, multi-million, then i must have a way to make this amount and won't want to risk it in Forex. I'll just continue to do what i had been doing. IF THERE IS any idiot that will give me rm1 million to invest on their behalf.. guess what? i'm taking the 1 million and i START RUNNING AS FAR AS I CAN GO. Putting 1 million with an investment bank or a legal entity for investment/returns purposes is fine. Putting 1 million with a stranger that lurks lowyat forums.. priceless |

It's always nice to side track abit....kind of like wishful thinking....for people that don't have, like me
Me, i'm still learning, trying hard to preserve my capital, have not recover yet. Had learned a lot since i started in Feb and i'm sure i'm better off when i started. It was so Blur, so speculative when i started, like in roulete event/odd/Zero My goal is still very conservative, to maintain my capital at the end of 6 months. It's a learning curve that i must go thru'. Guy, cheer me on.... Have a nice weekend |

I belive if you spend enought 'screen time' on any pairs, then it'll automatically become an easy pair. That is, once you become so attached to it, you know what is yesterday's closing, high, low, pivot....etc. I started with EURUSD and now had just added GBPUSD. It used to be (normally) both trending together. To my surprise and i found out that they could trend against each other (scalping, daytrade). Hmmh, lost quite some pips.....anyway good experience.
Wondering how EURUSD and GBPUSD shall fare today? New are affecting these pairs greatly. Happy pipping. |

QUOTE(z2forex @ May 2 2010, 10:33 PM) April was a good month for me also. Made 3822 pips in total. My aim is to break 5000 pips/month sometime this year. 8 more chances ahead Had analised and my main mistake is due to holding on to loosing positon and NOT cutting-lost, hoping for a reversal. This is a definate No, NO! These 4 position cost me 1,890. May, am off to a better start. More lessons learned. My account is still not busted and am still within my goal of NOT busting my account in 6 months (3 more months to go) Still having a healthy balance of 25,285.99 out of 30,000.00 (micro account, if real account already kaya!) Good luck to every one. Happy Pipping! |
Oh .... sorry to hear that. You didnt use stop loss ?
Added on May 3, 2010, 3:41 pmBy the way ... Cable is at 1.5220 ... almost reaching the TP 1.5200 .... Gonna tighten my stops now ....
Ha ha , Yes, i sure did, as with new and non-decipline trader (me Today sold GBPUSD too early @ 1,5243 6.30 AM, then took a draw down till 1.5264 (9.30 am & 1.30pm), finally it went down and i cutoff too early @ 1.5239 about 2.30 as i need to go away for a while. I just took a very small profit (was prepare to have a small lost) as i was thinking that i could be in the wrong trend today. Should had rode on till 1.5168 (5.50 pm), that would had made a handsome 72 pips. Shall trade again tomorrow... i`m interested to find a fund manager.mayb can get some experience...
Don't think fund manager shall teach you, haha Note to all Newbies, this is not a get rich quick forum and Forex is definately NOT a shortcut to riches. I had been here since December last year, during my demos, now into Micro Acc and am still loosing $. You'll need to do plenty "Homework", lots of reading, lots of testing and also go thru' certain "Roads" to learn. It's a very L-O-N-G and winding road. Luckyly the good people here are willing to share and to guide me. Most of all, the support and the cheering offered, so as to to give up. Thank you guys. All Newbies, just jump on in (with Demos Acc). You've nothing to loose! This post has been edited by Raymondetc: May 4 2010, 05:39 PM |
