Yes, understand M1 is very risky & stressful & time comsumming. Am trying scalping and guerila. i have the time as i'm unemployed at the moment. learning to control my stress, emotion & patience.

Hi Invince_Z, what indicator you are using? looks cool. EUR/USD I sold @ 1.3621 (5:08) and sold again @ 1.3632 (5:57). I chicken out and took profit @ 1.3621 (8.16)

For all newbies (me including) Start with Demo account 1st. Learn how not to loose money 1st, Hahah Am still loosing money. Dosen't matter how mauch capital you have. The more you have, the more you loose. Start real small. Micro account.

I think scapling is very very stressfull, watching the screen full-time. When it go against you, that two thing below also shrunk. I though i was the only sour looser, that feel that the "house" is eating our $ as it always spike me out (on my SL). Hehe , looks like we have some common feelings.

I'm a newbie, still loosing $, hense nothing much to contribute yet, but being here in this thread, i guess is sufficient to 'add' moral support and keep this treat active.

Looking forward to Monday, to start loosing again I'm one of the 95% now, but i'll definatly move up the ranks and shall join you guy (in the 5%) , soon, i hope. Hehehe

Wooooh, so much happenning in just a couple of days. Well, still in Thailand.....relaxing....trying to find a good trading strategy. I'm taking the long, slow way to trading, doing small things at a time.

Guess the younger trader are more highly charge, old trader like me (newbie) do it so slooooowly. Anyway, still in Thailand, and don't have full time internet access. Just dropping by to wish every one happy successful trading.

Hope every one can find their own repective stress-free successful trading style. As i don't have a successful trading strategy yet, i find trading very stressfull.

Chat more when i go back to Malaysia.......me, i'll relax on the beach.....wait for another sunset, visit some temple, get some massage to activate my Yin & Yang, be fresh and go back to start trading again.

Thomas; add oil. You can only become outstanding by doing things that go against the 'Norm'. You are still young, go live your dream. The most important aspect is the experience or living your dream. Result is secondary. Do all you want to do when you are young. Hope you get 'rebounnce' soon.

Assuming (really assuming, but i REALLY WISH ) i have huge amount of money, multi-million, then i must have a way to make this amount and won't want to risk it in Forex. I'll just continue to do what i had been doing.

It's always nice to side track abit....kind of like wishful thinking....for people that don't have, like me . If i had a million bucks, 50K shall goes into my Forex funding, the rest 950K shall keep me happily everafter

Me, i'm still learning, trying hard to preserve my capital, have not recover yet. Had learned a lot since i started in Feb and i'm sure i'm better off when i started. It was so Blur, so speculative when i started, like in roulete event/odd/Zero All trade closed. Starting fresh on Monday. Go relax at Ipoh/Cameron 1st.

My goal is still very conservative, to maintain my capital at the end of 6 months. It's a learning curve that i must go thru'. Guy, cheer me on.... Add oil! Hey maybe we can start a cheering group to cheer newbies on.....as times, we newbeis are so desperate....up to a point of giving up.....All seniors / regular here, please help to cheer newbies on.......add oil.....

I belive if you spend enought 'screen time' on any pairs, then it'll automatically become an easy pair. That is, once you become so attached to it, you know what is yesterday's closing, high, low, pivot....etc. I started with EURUSD and now had just added GBPUSD. It used to be (normally) both trending together. To my surprise and i found out that they could trend against each other (scalping, daytrade). Hmmh, lost quite some pips.....anyway good experience.

Wondering how EURUSD and GBPUSD shall fare today? New are affecting these pairs greatly.

You'll need to read the small print of your broker. For FXCM, you are only liable to the balance on your account. Not sure about other brokers.

me not doing well in April. Had a loss of - 10.26 (Micro Acc)
Had analised and my main mistake is due to holding on to loosing positon and NOT cutting-lost, hoping for a reversal. This is a definate No, NO! These 4 position cost me 1,890. A good lesson learned.

May, am off to a better start. More lessons learned. My account is still not busted and am still within my goal of NOT busting my account in 6 months (3 more months to go) Still having a healthy balance of 25,285.99 out of 30,000.00 (micro account, if real account already kaya!)

Ha ha , Yes, i sure did, as with new and non-decipline trader (me , i keep changing the SL, hopping (now this is a bad move) that it'll reverse. Anyway, lesson learned.

Today sold GBPUSD too early @ 1,5243 6.30 AM, then took a draw down till 1.5264 (9.30 am & 1.30pm), finally it went down and i cutoff too early @ 1.5239 about 2.30 as i need to go away for a while. I just took a very small profit (was prepare to have a small lost) as i was thinking that i could be in the wrong trend today.

Should had rode on till 1.5168 (5.50 pm), that would had made a handsome 72 pips. Anyway, this is Forex . A profit (even though small) is better than a lost.

Shall trade again tomorrow...

Note to all Newbies, this is not a get rich quick forum and Forex is definately NOT a shortcut to riches. I had been here since December last year, during my demos, now into Micro Acc and am still loosing $. You'll need to do plenty "Homework", lots of reading, lots of testing and also go thru' certain "Roads" to learn. It's a very L-O-N-G and winding road. Luckyly the good people here are willing to share and to guide me. Most of all, the support and the cheering offered, so as to to give up.
