i dabbled in forex briefly in late 2008/early 2009, put in 100USD and played with it by essentially guessing and was lucky enough to earn 200 bucks...

quickly withdrew it for fear of losing it and left my initial capital in it to play with, since then was busy with other things and only made occasional trades, sure enough proceeded to lose the 100 bucks lol

anyway i'm thinking of getting back into action and try my luck with a bit of money, think i should read up more on this first, gonna revisit babypips.com and perhaps even go to the national library and read books on technical analysis or something (i wonder if there is), lol anyone up for this study session?

just wanna ask what brokers do you guys use? is it easy to deposit and withdraw? since all are overseas brokers i'd think converting to USD or AUD before wiring over would kill already with the banks' massive spread in exchange rates

i was in Australia back then so i could wire AUD straight, i opened an account with Oanda and thus far nothing to complain about, except for the non-MT4 platform

also wanna ask when you guys opened an account was the process easy? since we're from Malaysia did the brokers like have restrictions or additional requirements or something

i suggest u to lower ur lots. trade small..as low as 0.05 n limit max lot size to 0.10. no harm done. i know its low n really low. but it the best way.
