oanda is comitted to providing the lowest spread possible. For instants I havent met another broket that offers less than oanda for E/U (0.9 pips) with exception of dukascopy? but dukascopy requires a minimum of USD50k deposit to start.
But during news time the spread increases.. but only for a minute or two..

Hi imax80.. teach me SAP and i teach u fx hahaha Anyway fx is quite different from stock market. Stock market is microecons while fx is macroecons.. technical analysis applies in fx also but fundamentals determine where it goes.

giving millions to an unknown stranger.. think of it my way..
IF THERE IS any idiot that will give me rm1 million to invest on their behalf.. guess what? i'm taking the 1 million and i START RUNNING AS FAR AS I CAN GO.
Putting 1 million with an investment bank or a legal entity for investment/returns purposes is fine. Putting 1 million with a stranger that lurks lowyat forums.. priceless

@aloong there is nothing wrong if your money management is 1-5% of ur account. Just be PREPARED TO LOSE (if things goes wrong) and keep your mentality calm. Do not revenge trade and you are fine.

to the guy that posted he cant find a broker that offers MYR pair to trade.
Please take my advice and give up on that. You should just give up on forex. Trading currencies with the base currency as MYR is an offense under the malaysian law. You can go to BNM and check it out.

To those that wants to start their account with very small capital. Please do not expect huge gains..
Scenario : U start your account with USD50.. you will need RM25 to wire ur money + RM2 conversion charges. You managed to double your investment to USD100.. Wiring your money back cost u USD25 already.. and the conversion rate?
end up you get peanuts only

for fx u cant lose more than u have in ur account unless u are using some unregulated broker (in this case u are super screwed cause losses in forex can be really really huge)

cause they dont care if their deposits go missing out of sudden.. its like putting money with an unregulated bank.. anytime they can just close shop n take ur money with them

yes sleepwalker i'm aware of that.. its just the point i'm trying to get across where unregulated brokers are riskier than regulated ones.. i'm not saying ur money is definately safe with regulated brokers but you can have the peace of mind that there is strict guidelines set by the body that covers these regulated brokers to ensure they dun run away with ur funds..
